Thos. Moser Cabinetmakers

You know you’re getting older when furniture excites you almost as much as finding an awesome pair of shoes.
We wandered in while shopping for a chest of drawers in Georgetown. We didn’t find what we’re looking for nor did we make a purchase of anything else, but Thos. Moser Cabinetmakers has been tucked into my list as one of the first places to look when I can actually afford nice furniture.
The designs are simple but very elegant. The main material is solid wood that’s sleek enough to fit in with any modern décor while adding a nice cozy and rustic touch. They custom-​make most of their pieces, so you can get the exact dimensions that you want for your home. They have awesome rocking chairs that are surprisingly comfortable.
They were having a floor sale (20% off floor samples), as they are actually in the process of closing the Georgetown location. They’re planning to relocate but haven’t found a location yet – I hope they do by the time I’m ready to come back and redecorate.
