If I could give this business zero stars, I would.
I wouldn’t bank here if it were the last financial institution on the face of the earth.
Their employees are abrasive, their policies Neanderthal, and their concern/​value for clientele is non-​measurable.
A close friend of mine has been banking here for over two decades. He acquired and paid off several loans without missing a single payment.
His pay check is direct deposited to his account.
Recently, he was contacted by the bank asking for the title to his vehicle because they had given him a loan on it nearly six years ago and just now decided they wanted the title.
When he didn’t send them the title, they blocked his account, freezing his assets and causing him to miss a mortgage payment when his check didn’t clear.
Again, he had never missed a single payment on the loan, had direct deposit with the bank, and had only a few months remaining on the loan!
When he contacted the bank compliance officer to request she unblock his account and offered to pay off the loan balance within a few days, she refused!
The unreasonable and short-​sighted conduct of the employees of this business are beyond definition. They can only be described as ignorant at best.
There are plenty of banking options out there. Don’t set yourself up for the offensive, bullying mistreatment by banking with TEFCU!
