I do not recommend this law firm to anyone! This law firm told me everything I needed and wanted to hear prior to me signing the retainer. Once the retainer was signed the story changed. At one point I began to think the firm was on the organizations side. I paid $ 5,000. and feel my attorney, Mr. McComber did nothing. He is still billing me to this day and when I call he won’t get on the phone. The billing office says the bill is because he had to brief my case to his supervisor in a staff meeting. REALLY? My case is closed… I won my case but it was due to Trial Defense and not this law firm. Another thing. I was told they were local but they were not… so going to court would’ve been a big problem

I was satisfied with the services that I received from Tully, especially from the attorney that provided me her services, Cheri Cannon. The retainer was kind of pricey, but I performed a lot of the footwork and at the end of this situation, I received a decent amount of my retainer. Miss Canon, I feel, satisfied both sides of this dispute. I believe that I can go back to this attorney and feel confident that the outcome, with her assistance, would be in my favor. I definitely would seek her services in the future if needed.

This firm was a complete disappointment. They said they were experts in the field-​they were not. They said the case would be file by a certain date — missed it by seven months. They said high chances of success — lost 5 – 0. Lawyer was always doing something else. And after we got the decision they said it would cost $ 200. for the lawyer to talk with me again to explain what happened. Ridiculous. Find someone else.

I reached out to this group/​law practice (not sure if they are a law firm) about some help with government mandated paperwork. I am an attorney myself, and have always found attorney advice helpful on subjects I am less familiar with. My experience with them, however, epitomized what can be wrong with law practice in the US.
The entire experience was unsatisfactory. To begin, clients are not allowed to communicate with the attorney offering advice to them directly, but only though a secretary. That presents a number of confidentiality concerns for most people (even though attorney/​client privilege technically still applies). I did communicate through a secretary, but the secretary was flaky and rather unresponsive. I finally managed to arrange for a phone consultation, which proceeded rather uneventfully. When I tried to follow up on something, however, I received no responses again after three email inquiries. When I finally placed a call to their toll free number, I was passed around a number of individuals who did not want to deal with my problem, ultimately to a gentleman who tried to get me to pay more for services. Without going into detail, there seemed to be a real disconnect and lack of concern for clients at this office by staff and legal personnel. I would highly dissuade anyone from using them. Luckily my need for services was optional and not very sensitive in this instance; however, the thought of them handling clients who are actually in need is frightening. It would likely end up being poor services for a lot of money.

After learning of my pending disenrollment from the Army’s ROTC program, and after looking for attorneys that specialized in this type of litigation, Tully Rinckey was my only option. Senior Associate Chad M. McFarland and his legal team not only treated me with respect and professionalism, but they advocated my case and WON!

I was in need of legal services, so I searched the nearby area in Maryland. I saw an ad for Tully Rinckey and browsed their website. It looked extremely professional so I scheduled a consultation with them. The attorney I met with exceeded the amount of professionalism I expected. I gave him a brief overview of my case and he explained what all my legal options were. All his explanations were concise and straight to the point so we did not waste any time. I highly recommend Tully Rinckey to anyone looking for legal services.

I’m a former federal employee who was interested in joining the Peace Corps. Due to my previous position, I was ineligible to join. However, the nuances of the situation (it’d been an internship, I’d already left, etc) made me wonder if there might be a potential opening to challenge the PC’s policy. I sought out a couple consultations and Tully Rinckey was one of them. One of the main reasons I spoke with them was that they were so readily available — I loved that they had a consultation guide and even online chat when I was looking through site after site of lawyers that have little to no information on their services, fees, or experience. Also, speaking as someone who has previously worked in an attorney’s office, finding a lawyer that is friendly, competent and collaborative is really reassuring, and I came away from my conversation feeling like that’s what I would find at the firm. I ultimately decided to pursue other opportunities but would definitely recommend them to someone in a similar situation.

I used this firm in a MSPB case (lawyer McPhie). at the table prior to signing/​hiring Mr McPhie he gave me several options in handling/​winning my case. After signing the more than five page contract, I became just a number. the service given me was standard, with representation being handled by more than five people (a ploy to rack up fees in billable hours for the firm). Mr McPhie took very little interest in my case, his helpers used the firms standard format, never incorperating any evidence that I provided to them in my defense. when i question the directed by Tully Rinckey more people were added to the case (more billable hours). Mr. Mcphie failed to put forth my evidence in the negotiating process and folded once he knew the agency would cover his firms’ lawyer fees. he constantly told me that I did not have a leg to stand on while his staff accumulated more billable hours for the agency to pay. when i did not accept the agency offer at Mr McPhie urging, he withdrew from the case and sent me a bill for much more than originally argeed upon (that explains the five page contract). I felt this firm wais more interested in getting as much money out of their clientser than winning the case. they know the process and bank on the agenc your fighting against habits. And the agency lawyer knows what firms they can depend on to kill the case. While I was fighing for my credibility, my job my finances my livelyhood, this firm was rooting for the agency ability to prolong the process giving Tully Rinckey large sums of its clients money in billable hours, no intergriy here…
