This is the closest post office to my house. It’s small, but more convenient than Customs House on Bladensburg or the other post office in Brookland. How I so wish my packages got delivered here when the mail guy misses me at home. Located right on Rhode Island Avenue near South Dakota, next door to Family Dollar, across the street from Rita’s, it’s easy to get to and the bus stop is right in front of it. There is metered street parking. I have only ever seen one employee in this store. I think she may be the only one who operates this store and she is the sweetest, friendliest lady. Service here is great. I think they offer every service here. Since its small lines aren’t usually ever long. They do close from 1pm-​2pm for lunch.
