US Sen Dean Heller

I’m going to be perfectly honest with everyone and state, right up front, that I don’t generally like nor trust politicians in general, nor Republicans in particular, But Senator Dean Heller is a wonderful exception to «the norm,» and I am proud to give this paean to a man who (obviously) hasn’t been on The Beltway long enough to learn how to be «a Jerk.» And, with the grace of God, he will continue to refuse to become anything like many of his colleagues.
Here’s why I’m a new member of his fan club: I sent an e-​mail to all three of my representatives (including my 2 senators) from the state of Nevada, and Sen. Heller (and his ultra-​helpful staff member, Stephen P Sifuentes) did two things that the other two did not:
1. He RESPONDED, and,
2. He SOLVED my problem!
As far as I’m concerned, that makes him «#1» in my book and justifies my voting for him the next time he runs for election, as well as sending money to help finance his future campaigns.
I just hope that when he becomes President of this terrific country, that he won’t lose the character traits and values that truly impressed me, like no one else ever has in the past.
It’s really a shame that there isn’t enough room to add his likeness to Mount Rushmore, because it would certainly be better to have him up there than Thomas Jefferson, who owned slaves.
