VIPS’ service was perfect in every way. I relied on VIPS for not only food catering, but also tables, napkins, utensils, cups, chairs — you name it — for my wedding reception. I highly recommend wedding venues and couples. VIPS was clear and honest in their communications of logistical and administrative parameters; timely in delivery of milestones; responsive to e-​mails and phone calls; flexible (even to ad hoc requests on site, which I made), artistic in their presentation of food, friendly but also professional; and, of course, served only delicious food and desserts.

I absolutely love VIPS. They’re dependable and always on time (actually, early). The ordering process is easy and the variety is endless. They are always accommodating of changes /​I’m a pain and often seem to order late. The drivers are friendly and helpful. The food is always good and the presentation is perfect.
Everyone in the office is always pleased, and let’s just say the standards are high.

I, too, work for a major law firm, in DC. After trying several other recommended caterers, I have learned to depend on VIPS for everything from a hot breakfast to a client reception. Sometimes, planning 10 meals a week.
Meal planning is so fluid, yet, VIPS makes the changes, painless — everyone are always friendly and professional.
Their food is always fresh and the presentation is very pleasing to the eye — the pasta salads are better tasting than any other caterer. The delivery is always on time and the drivers are always willing to go the extra mile if we need help setting things up.

I used VIPS Catering for my wedding. From the initial meeting straight through until after the wedding, Peter was professional and accommodating. When he saw that I was planning the entire wedding without a wedding coordinator/​planner, he gave me a lot of support and advice to help me cut corners and save money. He was very attentive to my color scheme, going through numerous swatches so that the chair sashes matched the bridesmaid dresses perfectly. He was very responsive to emails, texts, and phone calls. It never took more than a day or two to get an email response, and most of the time it was just a few hours. Even at the reception, he provided support that went above and beyond, working with the reception hall staff to work out kinks with the slideshow and helping manage seating issues when additional unexpected guests showed up.
Now the important part: the food. Peter helped me to take the buffet menu and customize it to my taste. It was an international theme with pan-​Asian, Mediterranean, all-​American foods. He was very flexible in the types of food, and even said that if there was something I wanted to add that wasn’t on the menu, he could make that too! Honestly, as the bride, I barely tasted the food because I was so busy. But the set up was beautiful! Instead of using normal tables, he brought in buffet tables with curves draped in white, which made for a classy set up. The food LOOKED amazing, and as I talked to guests during and since the reception, I can attest to the fact that it tasted amazing too! I saw people walk buy with heaping plates, taste testing different dishes before they even got to their seats. People came up to me at the bridal table and before even congratulating me, opened with «This food is incredible!»
After trading numbers and comparing vendors with other bride-to-be’s and just married friends, I know I got a great deal for the exceptional service, beautiful set up, and delicious food. I will post some pictures when the wedding photography comes back.

I needed a caterer who would deliver pans of hot food for a small family reunion and found Vips catering on Unilocal.Josh, Peter and their entire staff were wonderful to work with. They accommodated our food allergies, made a custom menu and delivered to the house where we were staying. The food was excellent, right on time, and the party was a success because of it. I found the cost to be extremely reasonable and the lemon chicken piccata, particularly, was delicious. I highly recommend this company.

I could not be happier with the services VIPS has provided. Peter and Josh really know what they are doing. We and all of our guests have always been amazed with the food, presentation and professionalism. They really go out of their way to make sure that you are satisfied with the food and the service. Once I realized how easy it was to do business with Peter and Josh (who I think are the owners) I was determined that VIPS would be our caterer. Their crew is so polite and helpful; they make it absolutely effortless to arrange catering for a business or conference. And best of all, my guests, from as far as Hong Kong, Dubai, China, Russia and South Africa have nothing but positive things to say in regards to the service and quality of the food.
The service: They were set up on time and ready to serve right when I asked. The caterers come dressed in white jackets and arrange everything out for you; have impeccable manners and know what they are doing. Very impressive!
The food: Excellent! I have ordered their breakfasts, the fruit platters are have generous helping of FRESH CUT FRUIT, well presented and freshly baked cookies and brownies for break rooms. And what’s more if something on the set menu that you want to eliminate and swap for something else, they would be happy to do that for you, as well as recommend what goes with what. Most recently I ordered the May special (Surf & Turf) the guests were raving about the food on their way out the door.
I was skeptical they could make everything so good when prepared in bulk. I and glad I was wrong! Everything was perfect and freshly made; someone even mentioned that you could not get a better or fresher salad at a salad place!
Overall, I don’t think any catering company in the DC Metro area could come close to being as great as VIPS. I highly recommend them and you will be impressed! besides you can’t beat their prices.
