ETA –This review is for the Bellevue/​William O. Lockridge library ( Unilocal, please change!), which replaced The Washington Highlands Library in 2012.
This library almost feels like a mod treehouse, very cool architecture! I really like how the adult and children’s sections each have their own floor. There is plenty of seating spread out, private study rooms, and it’s generally quiet. I also have to give props to one of the librarians yesterday who actually told a loud person on the phone to be quiet — which I don’t think I’ve ever seen happen at any DC libraries ;)
