Beautifully curated boutique with great clothing, jewelry, toiletries, and home goods. Their selection is deliberate and impeccable, but don’t be discouraged by the term«boutique» and all of the expensive, out-of-reach connotations it conjures. Everything here is reasonably priced, I got the softest pair of leggings for under $ 15 and a light kimono-style jacket for $ 20. Will be back for greeting cards, earrings, and whimsical forest creature-print flannel shirts!

Absolutely love this place! Not only was the staff super helpful, but they also recommended some really great items. Also, who can go wrong with adding some unique accessories to the mix too? I’m really happy that they have a men’s section with great T-shirts. Makes me feel less guilty when I can get something for my boyfriend too :) DEF worth checking out if you’re in the area!

I’m so very glad this boutique has reopened! The 5 star reviews are merited– Julie is friendly and helpful, and her eye for fashion is unmatched. Perfect for gifts, for yourself, and for cute things for the coffee table. For selection, for style, and for price point, Willow is the best clothing boutique in the city, and is a staple of Upshur Street.

Been a fan of this place since it opened! Great neighborhood shopping spot. If you are familiar with , you’ll love this place! They also support local artists and sell everything from jewelry to hand crafted soaps and lotions. Can’t wait until they reopen after the renovation!

Really love this adorable little shop. I’ll pop in with my stroller & baby too & can navigate just fine. The ladies working are always sweet & helpful. Very cute mix of new, affordable tops & dresses matched with a good mix of vintage. I’ve bought last minute gifts & some great summer dresses for myself here.

I love to shop, so when it was suggested that we stop here, I was amenable. I was also quite impressed. Upon my initial peruse, I was a bit sad – nothing was quite my style. Between some vintage styles and a bit of an earthy-crunchy flair, I began to think that Willow wouldn’t have anything for me. However, that thinking was quickly reversed when I re-visited two racks in the back that offer modern, trendy items that perfectly match my style. We chatted with the owner, Julie, who was friendly. We learned that Willow has been open for about a year. The store is bright and well-merchandised, and offers accessories, home items, and baby items in addition to apparel. Plus, all items are extremely reasonably priced, so you receive the luxury of boutique service and style without the cost. With new arrivals weekly, I’ll be a regular at Willow.

People use the word«hidden gem» all too often. However in the case of Willow, an unexpected boutique in Petworth on a street more known for restaurants and bars(Petworth citizen and Domku) this word is absolutely fitting. This store has been open for more than a year and I can’t believe me and my credit card haven’t found this place earlier. This store is the cutest boutique I have been to in DC! Whether you’re looking for a gift for a young women in your life, or looking to expand your wardrobe, a trip to Petworth will definitely pay off! If you like brands like YA and Tulle, this is the place to go. There are no shortages of cute dresses and tops, with affordable prices(it’s also the least expensive boutique I have been to). They also have one rack of vintage clothing, that’s all in good shape and look repurposed. I tend to not wear vintage clothes, not cause I am a snob, only because people from the past were really really thin and my modern day thighs won’t fit a thing here, but if you’re lucky and thin, don’t pass this rack by. I nearly dragged in half a rack of clothing into the dressing room with me, and thanks to Lia who reminded me of exactly how many striped dresses I own I walked away with only a cute peplum top for $ 26( ) which looks like nothing I own and perfect for going out. Lia however did not remind me of my polka dot addiction, and I also walked away with a set of four tiny vintage cute ceramic bowls in red and white polka dot pattern. I know this is a clothing boutique mainly, but definitely if you find yourself in here do not overlook the vintage homewares. Cute plate sets(4 for $ 19), ring holders and ceramic casserole dishes are everywhere. It’s like cute Anthropologie stuff without the inflated nonsense prices. The owner who was completely delightful invited us back for a 30% off event party, which is timed perfectly with my next payday. Coincidence? I think not.

Super cute shop with great clothes at very reasonable prices. Nice vintage selection and great collection of contemporary lines too. Cute jewelry, scarves, and gifts too! I can’t stress enough how good the prices are. Owner is really friendly and it’s a fun place to pop in. Right next to Domku which is another favorite of mine in the area. Well worth checking out!

Willow is a great place to find a dress for a special event or for something new to wear to the office! The small quantities that are brought in to the shop mean that someone else in DC won’t be wearing what you are!

This is a great vintage+ store… it has select vintage pieces, plus a great portion of unique crafted items, like wallets and candles and some baby items. They carry a great retooled vintage line of dresses — vintage fabric, more modern(and flattering) tailoring. All very reasonably priced! Really an excellent store.

This store is great. The owner is picky and chooses lots of unique retro(dare I say hipster) pieces of clothing. Nice bags and good potential for finding a gift. Also, the owner is really sweet!

Love this store! They have some great pieces, like jackets, scarves and jewelry. Found an adorable houndstooth jacket for my 20-something sister, and an infinity scarf to go with it. The prices are great and the customer service is stellar.

This is a really nice boutique/gift store. I recently did some gift shopping there and found stuff for hard-to-buy-for family members. I haven’t been to many shops like this in DC, although they may exist, it is definitely a first in the neighborhood. They carry funky kitchen gadgets, toys, art boxes, art supplies, lunchboxes, upcycled belts, scarves, beer/wine sweaters, basically a small collection of unique stuff. They also carry contemporary women’s clothes. Very cute stuff for women in their 20s and 30s, brands like Tulle. Very reasonably priced and unique. They had a pretty wide range of sizes in some items. I didn’t do any clothes shopping while I was here, but it looked like it was a fairly large and private dressing room. The woman there was very friendly and helpful without being overwhelming. About four blocks from GA Ave metro and plenty of parking(some metered). Bottom line, a great little shop that will solve many of my shopping issues at a fair price to boot.
