Had some down time at work. Had a job in the area. So I decided to walk to this place to get my haircut. Glad I did. Walked in and 5 minutes later I was sitting in the chair. Got a good haircut to. Would recommend it.

I originally stopped in because my normal barber shop around the corner was closed for the day. Xi cut my hair once and I’ve been back ever since. The barbers are always pleasant, and the shop normally has ESPN on the multiple TVs. They keep more practical hours than some other shops, as working professionals aren’t always able to get the shop during normal business hours or right after work. My cut always comes out as promised… would definitely recommend to anyone in the area looking for a good a good barber (s).

Showed up for an appointment, guy wasn’t there. Texted Guy… Said he was running late and would be there in about 30min (which annoyed me but I live across the street, so no big deal)… 30 min comes and goes… Guy never shows up. I made the appointment via Text, the guy could have at least texted me if he wasn’t planning on showing up. I’m a pretty reasonable guy, I understand things come up.

I called ahead and made an appointment with Eric after seeing the reviews. I was nervous and it was my first time in a barber shop… ever! But it was such a pleasant experiance. It was much more quiet than a beauty salon! I would defineitly recommend this babershop for men and women alike.

Loved it! You know you’re in a for-​real barber shop when, on the day before school starts, the place is packed with kids and teens with no tempers, smiling barbers, and a happy buzz. I walked in on a Sunday afternoon, waited just a bit, and walked out less than an hour later looking great. Tarji was super friendly, gave great advice, and a stylish close cut. I’m looking forward to going back to get «tightened up» regularly… no need to keep looking for another shop; I’m done!

The list goes on, this place is hands down the best barbershop in DC. When I moved to the District, I took this scalp all over and I can confidently say that Tarji and his team at World Class Cuts have the best level of professionalism, sense of style, and reasonable prices in this city. The moment the door swings open, you feel at home, and someone makes sure that you will be taken care of in appropriate time.
Now now, I know this is a stiff city, but you may have to wait at times, especially if you don’t have an appointment. They are great and people know it, don’t expect to walk into an empty barbershop and hop right in the chair. All I can tell you is that it’s absolutely worth the wait if there is one, and you won’t regret it! I can’t imagine getting my haircut anywhere else.

After my unfortunate accident over the week end, I found myself dc bound for this week medical care. Plus with my leg in a cast I couldn’t make to my regular barber Ayo @urban cuts. Fortunately after a bit of research I located a decent place on k and 4th NW and decided to give them a chance.
My experience was definitely pleasant. In true community grounded form this barbershop made me feel welcomed. The nice cut from Alphonzo Russ gave me the smile and the confidence I need to tackle this post surgery week.
Thank you guys for helping caring and beautifying the district.
I will definitely visit when I am in town and strongly recommend.

I’ve never needed the services of a Barber before. But I took my braids out and my hair was giving me such a hard time. I finally said… I’m done. I called to book at appointment with Eric after seeing him cut a youtube vloggers hair. He did an amazing job on hers. My hair was long, touched my shoulders when you pulled it straight. It’s nautural and super kinky. Eric was great, he saw a picture I showed him and pretty much gave me the exact cut I wanted. He was so worried, which was great because it was coming out a little masculine but I told him and assured him that I would style it myself and not to worry. He even offered to put leave in for me. Which was great. I’ll be back for sure. He was super professional, and the barber shop was really quiet and clean.

This was the first barbershop I ever went to when I moved here over 2 yrs ago and it’s the ONLY one i’ll ever go to. The barbers are flexible with appointments, Eric gives every customer the same attention to detail, and its an overall fun/​comfortable environment to be in.
One thing that i’ve always thought was cool about this place is there is every shape, gender, race and sexuality getting their haircut in there and thats just dope.
$ 20/​haircut isnt bad at all for DC either.
I’d recommend to anyone.

This is the best barbershop experience I have ever encountered, World Class Cuts has won a faithful customer! I went to the Barbershop on a Friday, a little unsure if they took walk-ins.just my luck, they did. Not only are you greeted as you enter, the environment is welcoming and sparkling clean. I have had really awful experiences at barbershops given my unique taste in haircut styles that a lot of barbers seem to talk me out of or really don’t get exactly what I want. I got my haircut by Fonzo (sorry i’m not sure if im spelling his name correctly) not only was I pleased, he did exactly what I asked for and so much more. I will be back again for sure and I recommend anyone looking for great service and a great cut to go there.

Great barber shop. Finding a good barber is like finding a good woman; hard to come by. I have only been cut by Tarji but man can he cut hair well. A little pricey but well worth it and remember… it’s DC! I’m telling you… you won’t be disappointed. Best barber shop I’ve been to and I’m real particular about my hair.

Great clean barbershop. I didn’t have to wait, walked right on in and got service. The barber was real nice, new what I wanted and got it done. The price was a little bit more than I would pay back at home at my own barber but it was well worth it. I would definitely got back, highly recommended.

Taja (sorry if the spelling is wrong!) did a trim for me and did a great job. Fair price and attention to detail.

Walked in on a Wednesday after work, each barber was cutting hair with none waiting, which is the best feeling in the world when you need a good cut. This was my First haircut here at World Class cuts, and all I can say is I’m very happy Kerrie N. steered me into this direction. The atmosphere was on point, The price was on point, and attention to what I wanted was on point. I also love that it’s only 4 stops from my work. So if I need a quick cut I know exactly where to go.
They take credit/​debit card… bring cash for tips, as you cant add it to the bill.
