If you are in the Washington, MO area and need yarn, this is the place to go. The shop is bright and welcoming. There is a wide variety of yarn with most any fiber and size that you might enjoy. The owner is a super nice and helpful woman. She takes as much time with you as you need to choose yarn for a project, answer questions, and give tips for making your project successful. The shop has classes, knit alongs and monthly movie nights. I make sure to visit Bah! any time I am in Washington.

Really love Bah! Yarns. They used to be in another location not far from this new one on Elm, but they moved here some odd months ago. They have a pretty good selection of different brands of yarn as well as different fiber types. There’s a little something for everyone no matter your skill level of knitting/crochet. I believe the owner, Beth, offers classes as well if you are a newbie. On certain nights, they do a knit/crochet night where you can bring your project and watch a movie or work on it in a group of other crafters. I have not been to any of these events mostly because if I am in Washington, it’s usually for something work-related and I still have to make the drive home to St. Charles and that’s a bit of a drive, so I never have the energy to do it, but someday I would like to stay for one! Also I should mention the owner is super nice and is more than willing to assist if you found a lovely yarn you want to buy but unsure of what to make from it, she has patterns you can buy or will help you find one online. She also sells other things like knitting needles, stitch markers, point protectors, and other such tools as well as accessories like shawl pins. Really cute shop and nice relaxes atmosphere. I try to make it a point to stop by anytime I am in town. We really need more local yarn shops like this! :) Edited to add: Note they are closed on Tuesdays and Sundays. They are open till 8pm on Mondays, though, which I believe is the knit night. Edit to Add: I wish they carried spinning stuff too, but I guess if there’s not much of a market for it in the local area it wouldn’t make sense to carry that sort of inventory esp if space is limited, might as well just stock yarns, though even a tiny spinning section would fill me with great joy. :D
