Stopped here late at night on a road trip from Savannah to Atlanta for a filler up. Being from Cali, I instantly noticed a bit of Southern hospitality, with them allowing me to pump my gas without having to pay first. This seemed odd, having always paid up front before, so I asked why this was allowed. While multitasking, the flamboyant lady behind the counter made it clear that if I would have made a run for it she would have chased me down before I know what hit me. She said she had caught quite a few folks in her day. Having been impressed with her history of stopping bandits, I did the only other thing you could do at a gas station, use the out house. Handing me the key, it’s then made very clear that I better keep this restroom clean, turn the light out, and lock the door afterwards. First time I’ve been on my best behavior filling up my gas tank. Overall, gas prices are more golden in the peach state then Cali, so a big plus there! One less star for not stocking chocolate milk.
