It’s nice to have a real coffee shop here in Washington. I got an iced coffee and it was well done: nice flavors, not at all watered down. I also appreciated the free WiFi. But, I think the layout and process for ordering food is confusing. The couple in front of me wanted to order something from the deli but were confused about having to go to the other room to order and then come back to the coffee shop side and pay at the register. I think they would be well served to combine the process. Also, the amazing looking desserts are in a case after the register, which I think is a lost opportunity for the store.

Awesome deli-like place. Comfy and cozy, half coffee house and half deli. Fabulous food and friendly staff. Wish this was where i live!

Best part is the atmosphere. It’s very cozy. I’ve only ever gotten coffee or baked goods while I was there. But I’ve heard other people say they really enjoyed the sandwiches from the deli.

I’ve been here twice now, and have only tried the cookies, but they’re fantastic. Half dozen for $ 5, so to me a little pricey, but worth getting on occasion. I’ve tried maybe 8 varieties, and I’d say four of those I’d rate excellent(chocolate chip, almond, toffee chip, and an iced sugar cookie that I can’t think of the name of). Hoping to try a breakfast sandwich sometime.

Not impressed with what they had to offer. I chose to try this place out because it was the only thing decently rated that was open and nearby. I arrived at 8:20am, there opening hour is either 6, or 6:30am but when I got there the doors were locked. Called them so that they could open the door for me. I checked out their deli menu & the only thing I could really eat was their Nancy sandwich or something because it has Tuna and I love Tuna. The rest didn’t seem like healthier prospects so I opted for the Nancy, when I ordered it, the guy that was taking my order said they’re out of Tuna. Well, there goes my breakfast! I was then deciding whether or not to choose another sandwich and just remove the meat, but the veggies/everything else listed in the sandwiches just didn’t sound appealing alone so I went next door to their attached coffee shop to check out what they had. I walked up the step and the first thing I saw were mason jars of tea leaves and so I opened some of them to smell them and read what kind they were. When I turned around I was surprised to see a girl behind the counter. She just looked at me, so I said hello, good morning, and turned back around to read more about the teas. I then decided to check out their coffee menu which has what basically every other coffee shop has to offer, so I ordered what I normally get, a Nutella Latte, which seems to be a popular items everywhere I go. I checked out their pastries… All fattening and sugary so I just got a cookie for the road. Anyway, it just seemed like it was too early for the girl, perhaps she’s too tired to greet a customer or provide a friendly smile. Sigh. No breakfast for me! I’ll have to find food somewhere else.

5.00 for 3 cookies? Will never come to this establishment again. Not impressed. The coffee prices were too high. I’m all for shopping small business but I would rather go to Starbucks than to come this place again.

They do a good job with their lattes and cappuccinos. The breakfast sandwiches are good. Their attached shop has some nice items. It’s a bit odd that W&J doesn’t frequent this shop more.

I have only been here once but it’s great. I had an iced latte and it was decently priced and very good. It’s a cozy little place. It’s just what Washington needed. I will definitely be back when I am home.

My kids and I love this place. The croissant breakfast sandwiches are OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD! Have it warmed on the panini grill, you will not regret it! My son’s favorites are the munkins and we get so excited when we see they were just taken out of the oven! They are little monkey breads in a cupcake size. I love the iced tea they serve in the summer… very refreshing tropical mix and no sugar needed. The only thing I would change is bigger iced coffee/tea cups :) I’m kind of a java junkie. Well done!

Do yourself a favor and take 10 extra minutes to drive to downtown Washington to check this place out. I never leave without half dozen Ricotta sugar cookies and Almond cookies. Make sure to check out their deli too connected next door for Boar’s Head and Amish meats and cheeses!

Well done. I just ordered the drip coffee that was pre-made. It was very good. Ordered a small egg, cheese and bacon croissant. Very good as well. I have nothing bad to say here. Enjoy.
Awesome little deli. Terrific breakfast sandwich and coffee. Prices are extremely reasonable also, especially considering the quality. Employees were great as well.

A great new Italian deli. The mixed berry gelato, the toffee chocolate gelatos were delicious! Everything from brownies, canolis, gelatos, breakfast sandwichs, pastries, specialty sodas, to deli meats and cheeses. a great new gem in Washington!

What a great little gem in Washington, PA. The sandwiches here are delish and fresh made when you order. The deserts are simply amazing. I am craving one of their homemade brownies with a scoop of «the dangerous stuff» gelato right now, mmmm. Lisa and the rest of the staff make you feel like your friends from the minute you walk in. Take a book and settle in for the afternoon because you won’t want to leave.

Very kind service, and a really good latte. Extremely smooth flavor with no hint of bitter or sour. The coffee crushed anything Starbucks can make, as well as every other coffee shop I’ve been to outside Europe. Definitely worth the 10 minute detour it took.

Sooo glad Washington finally has a good coffee shop! I’ve tried several of their baked goods. Amazing! The coffee is from la prima in Pittsburgh so it is top notch. Customer service is excellent. Also try the sandwiches from next door if you can. Fresh and delicious. My new favorite place!

This place has seriously nice owners and employees. They will generally greet you with a friendly smile and strike up a conversation if they aren’t too busy. The coffee is well priced and delicious and pairs with the baked goods ever so nicely. The toffee is from the toffee house in town(best in the area) and they seem to be big into supporting local businesses. Definitely a good stop to start, or finish, your day.
