Food is just great. I am peruvian and feel so proud to have this restaurant to represent our culinary experience. Please do not miss the anticucho. I will come back as many times as many times as I can even if I have to drive 45 minutes from home.

I’ve never been to Peru, but this was the best Peruvian cuisine that I’ve ever eaten. salsa was spicy and the margarita was great. we’ll be back.

We went here last night for our anniversary and really enjoyed it. It’s an elegant restaurant close to downtown Washington, with cool Peruvian music. Our waitress got our drinks, chips and salsa right away and gave us ample time to peruse the menu before she returned, which I appreciated. This was our first visit and I know nothing about Peruvian food, but opted to be adventurous and ordered the Seco de Carne. It was a really tasty beef stew served with beans and white rice. The sauce was spicy, but not hot. The salsa was very good, too. No black pepper-​yea! I had the sangria, also very good. We will definitely be back!
