Went to a wedding this past weekend where«Diamond Dan» was the DJ. This was the worst wedding DJ I have ever experienced. He only played typical wedding songs and had no current music, which made it impossible for him to play any requests. At any given time, there were only little kids and a couple of moms out on the dance floor dancing to «Journey» or the«YMCA». There were more people outside talking than people inside dancing. This guy might do a good job DJ’ing a little kid’s birthday party, but should not be doing weddings. Keep this in mind when you are looking for someone to DJ on your special night. A DJ should have some sense of the crowd, should have some sense of the times, and should have a music library to tailor to everyone. He should be able to keep the party going on the dance floor, instead of getting asked to pack up early, as he did at the wedding I just went to.
