Dodici’s Shop continues to be one of my favorite places to be in Washington. The food and beverages are always wonderful. If I need a quick lunch, I LOVE the chicken/​cranberry wrap with a glass of freshly brewed ice tea.
There is a fun and quirky gift shop selection for that unique item you want to give.
For the reviewers that complain about «slowness» I say, «Take time to breathe and absorb the energy in this place.» This is not a fast food drive up serving junk. It is great ingredients: personally made one at a time and in a warm, inviting atmosphere.

We always stop on our way through town. Its a cute shop and the drinks aren’t bad but they take FOREVER. You could be the only one in the shop and you could wait ten minutes. We had to walk out today after waiting ten minutes for her to make someone else’s drink. She hadn’t even taken our order yet. Its common sense, pick up the pace when there’s a line.

We love staying in the Dodici Suite on our Washington trips. What makes it even better is having the coffee shop downstairs to frequent. Ive tried their lattes, crème brûlée coffee and European hot chocolate… all very good. They usually have little sandwiches/​wraps, baked goods and treats. The chicken salad wrap I got the other day was fresh, light and yummy. Love going in the morning for a fresh «flourless cookie» and coffee. Had a slice of a pumpkin bundt cake with glaze the other morning and it was a little bland but moist. Bought a scarf from here too! They have all sorts of things to look at and enjoy. The restaurant next door is great too!

Cutesy shop located next door to the luscious Café Dodici. Lunch and coffee are served there starting at 11 am. Plenty of sandwiches to choose from and 4 or 5 tables at which to enjoy said sandwiches.
Good selection of wines, culinary themed books and all the trinkets you desire from a wine and lunch spot. Good place to stop in and relaxed for a while.

GREAT coffee, wine, and candy! LOVE to go check out the works of local artists as well. Every time I stop in I find something new in this amazing shop!
