Eric Fleischer Catering

My wife and I are huge foodies, avid home cooks, wine collectors, and frequent world travelers. We know and love great food. We don’t write many online reviews since very few food experiences truly move us enough to write about them. Nevertheless, it is with immense excitement that we write this review for Chef Eric Fleischer of «Eric Fleischer Catering.»
We sought a personal chef to create a birthday feast in our home for 12 foodie friends (14 total guests) to be served with wines from our collection to be paired with his dishes. When we first looked into hiring a chef, we were a bit shocked to learn how different the prices for home catering are compared to what one might pay to eat an excellent meal in a nice restaurant. However, after further analysis of the catering competition and their (lower end) products relative to value, we quickly realized that chef Eric was the one to deliver the unique high end event we desired at a fair price. We also appreciated that chef Eric only books one client event per day, which means that he can apply total focus to each event.
During the planning stage, we simply gave chef Eric a list of some of the specific ingredients that we wanted, and he created a sumptuous menu incorporating those ingredients while deftly balancing flavor profiles to pair with wines. After a few minor tweaks to the menu, we arranged a smaller «trial tasting dinner» in our home in order to get to know chef Eric better, to see him cook, and to sample a few of the dishes he proposed.
Words cannot express how «blown away» we were with chef Eric’s dishes. His preparations exceeded all our expectations. At one point, my wife was almost in tears because she did not want to finish her last bite!
Chef Eric is very professional, efficient, and easy to work with. Any person who enjoys outstanding food and who is looking for a five star personal chef to cater an unforgettable event should absolutely not miss the chance to have chef Eric Fleischer cook for them. You will not be disappointed.

Every aspect was outstanding — the quality of the food, the setup, and presentation of the food for our 30 guests.
