I will miss this place! I was up for a conference at the hotel next door and discovered this place via the magic of the internet. SOGLAD I DID! I’m not vegan, but I do like healthy food and there seemed to be NOTHING close to the hotel. I had the almond taco salad. I couldn’t even tell there was no meat! The«meat» that they used apparently was sun-dried tomatoes! YUM! The staff is super sweet and the food is AMAZING whether you like meat or not, this is definitely worth a visit. If it were an option, I would PAY to have them ship me food to DC! THAT good! :)

This is a nice little tea shop and restaurant run by a very friendly couple. The menu changes frequently and they have a large selection of tea and coffee beans. Desserts are delicious. The place is on route 19 in North Strabane twp at The Shoppes at Quail Acres for those who are interested. The place could be a little bit more«tidied up» to give it a little more touch of class as it already has a very nice character to it. Also, the prices are moderate. Nothing crazy. Do stop by at this place for lunch or dinner or just a snack with a cup of tea or coffee.

Fortuitea is delicious! I love their food, especially because it’s all vegan! The chef is amazing. He concocts the most delicious food. I have literally loved everything I’ve eaten and go there as often as I can. You can even make requests a couple days in advance for anything! He should sell his vegan mozzarella that he uses on pizzas in stores! There are always new things on the menu!

A pretty decent place to have a cup of coffee in the morning. Love the atmosphere and vibe inside. Price is very reasonable.

Coffee is made to order. It was like a party in my mouth. The staff was helpful and talkative. The location should be noisy but it is quiet inside and the interior is very quaint and comfortable.

I have to say the photo featuring an older woman in this place had me thinking that this was not the hip coffee shop that I was looking for. And it wasn’t — it was even hipper. What I might like most about this place is that the people who run it, have no idea what it is to be trendy and have never laid eyes on a «hipster.» Without knowing it, the owners have accomplished to create a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. There are large windows all around that let in natural light. The remaining wall area is decorating with loose leaf teas and coffee beans. It’s the biggest selection of loose leafs I’ve ever seen outside of a retail store. I had a peach, raspberry and apricot iced tea and it was perfect. Not at all overly sweet, but plenty of flavor. And I don’t generally care for peaches, but I liked that. While I was there I talked to Jeff and Chris who work there and they gave me the low down on the eats. It’s a twist on comfort food. Things Pumpkin Mac & Cheese and an Apple & Cheddar Sandwich were on the menu. And then they dropped this bombshell on me: it’s all vegan! How cool is that? The good is super interesting and veggie friendly without having Peta stickers or other carnivore intimidation material plastered anywhere. Being there was so comfortable, it felt like I was just relaxing in my grandma’s kitchen. Among all of the chain restaurants and mediocre franchised coffee shops, Fortuitea was the epitome of serenity and peace.

Stopped in for an afternoon snack and had the most delicious pesto focaccia. Can’t wait to try the other menu items! My non vegan bf had a cookie and couldn’t tell the difference. Great spot!

Is this joint a bakery, a coffee shop, a tea store, a vegan lunch spot, or an uncanny rendition of your grandma’s house? Answer: all the above. Kudos to their vegan menu creativity, but the atmosphere and target market need some revising. Tip: mac & «cheese» is good, but huge and crazy filling after a few bites. Could also do without the chickpeas sprinkled in.

This is one of the most lovely, warm places to sit and get some work done. Their selection of loose leaf teas rivels that of teavana, and there are very willing to help you find whichever tea suits your likings. Tea is served in REAL ceramic mugs, which is one of my favorite parts of any indepedent tea/coffee shops. Staff is very friendly. Inside décor is very home-y. Tables are 2 or 4 tops with placemats. Small selection of baked goods, and while I wasn’t hungry during my visit, their meal menu sounded wonderful. Buffalo cashew mac n’ cheese? YUM. I would 100% recommend if you’re getting sick of the impersonal aspect of most chain coffee shops. Service was excellent and they consistently checked on me to see if a needed more hot water, any food, etc. Absolutely lovely and cannot wait to return.

Great little café. Wonderful selection of teas and coffees, plenty I had not ever tried before. The staff knows their products and are passionate and knowledgeable about their beverages. Quiet and a little refined, while still completely casual and very relaxing. Also, awesome vegan/vegetarian snacks and lunch… You will be getting a few teas or coffees to-go when you leave, trust me. a little out of the way, but totally worth it!
