This place is mediocre at best. Stopped in because it was the only sit down place in the mall. It seems like they have copied a chilies menu. The food was sub par ordered the steak and cheese potatoes. The steak was about a ¼ inch thick and the potatoes were a really interesting texture. I ate the steak and that is about it. I would have been better off in the food court.

This is one of the better restaurants when looking at overall experience in the area. They have a lot of decent menu selections to choice from. The service the day I visited was outstanding. The gentleman who took care of our group of 6 was very professional and very accommodating all the way through. I ordered the boneless buffalo wings as an appetizer. Honestly, they tasted somewhat rubbery. For my entrée I engulfed into one of their speciality salad. The one thing I didn’t like was the lettuce they used was more shredded. The whole part of a salad is tasting the crispness greens. Overall a great place and one that I can’t wait to venture back to. They remind me a lot of a applebees spin off. Located around the bar area and viewable from the restaurants are HD televisions. Which makes me think this establishment could be a hidden gem!

Do not go here. I have never gotten a bad meal at a Garfields until today. This one in Washington was horrible. We ordered appetizers and they were cold. My fist meal was cold and as hard as rock. The second meal they gave me to replace the first meal had two hairs in it. I was less than pleased with the manager’ attitude when I brought this to his attention. Think twice before you eat here.

Do not waste your time. The margarita tasted as though it was water from the sink with some flavoring thrown in. The quesadillas were bland and are still coming back to remind me to never eat here again!!!

The only reason I dished out two stars for this place is because I like their decorations. The service here is slower anything. I could probably go into the mall and get a haircut and come back before I’d get my food. Food is edible, not really good.

This is a good option if you’re headed to a Wild Things game and don’t want to eat another ballpark hot dog. Overall Garfield’s is nothing spectacular. Our service was good and the food was good, but if it wasn’t located so close to the ballgame, I probably would not have given it a try. My Mom ordered a salad — one of the biggest salads I’ve ever seen — and she was quite pleased with her selection. I ordered one of my standards, a bacon cheeseburger. Overall it was tasty and did the job of satisfying my hunger — but the burger part was a little overcooked(i.e., charred around the edges). If it hadn’t been for the bacon and cheese, I would not have liked it as much(i.e. it would have been way too dry for me to choke down). Oh, and they have tater tots, which is always a win for me. I didn’t think the prices were unreasonable, though we selected the 2 for $ 20 option(1 appetizer and 2 meals). Garfield’s probably wouldn’t be my last choice for a bite before a Wild Things game but it certainly won’t ever be my first.

Well I guess ya gotta have somewhere to go now that most Bennigan’s have shut down. Places like Chili’s, Applebees, and Garfields are places you go to when dinner isn’t a destination in itself. Not that these places are bad. It’s just that you go to places like Garfield’s for a good quick lunch or a good dinner before or after an event. Which is why I was here today. I took my Dad to the nearby Washington Wild Things’ game today and instead of eating ballpark food, we decided to chow here. I had the Chicken Cesar Wrap, which was grilled chicken breast, romaine lettuce, and parmesan cheese in a garlic herb wrap. It was actually pretty good and not heavy – perfect before sitting out at the game. My Dad ate the standard cheeseburger, fries, and a beer. He said that the burger was about as good as any other he’s had. All-in-all, Garfield’s is a good place to go to before or after a movie or ballgame!
