I bought flowers and had them delivered to my wife in Washington. I gave them a specific message to write on the card and they spelled my name. Now I’m aware this is a mistake that happens. But what makes me upset, is that I had asked them TWICE to please spellcheck my name for me. Then I proceeded to give them my credit card info, which has my name spelled correctly… It’s just 6 letters. This purchase was my first flower purchase for my wife after marriage, and I wish she could’ve had things perfect. I called the manager, Amy, and was told there was nothing she could do. How could that solve my issue? Customer service is weak, and for such a high priced item with literally only TWO responsibilities to complete(flowers and their message) it’s just wrong to not be compensated even a dime. The flowers looked nice yadda yadda, but as they say«it’s the thought that counts.»

I had La Fleur make my flower crown for my recent wedding. Amy was amazing. I showed her numerous Pinterest posts I liked, she asked me what I liked about each, listened carefully and put together a beautiful piece for my big day. I got so many compliments and over and over it went back to that flower crown, everyone loved it.

My flowers from LeFleur are always beautiful, and last a long time. I’ve tried the 1 – 800 types and they usually send the wrong thing, late, or bad flowers. Might cost a bit more at LeFleur, but well worth it.

I am a native of Washington and Love the Washington historic square. I am always ready and willing to spend money and buy gifts at the square shops rather then big named stores. While this store is lovely, I have failed to find much to buy on my visits. The prices are on the high side and similar items are available much more resonably just a few doors down on the square. I lived near this store and would often walk up to the square for shopping. I would be in «walking» clothes and maybe not looking my best. While in this condition, I was blatanly ignored by the staff multiple times. I left without buying anything because of this. I hope this shop thrives in it location, but a little bit more friendliness from the staff would do a lot. You never know who will be willing to buy things…

My expirence with this shop and it’s employees began a little over a month ago when they were hired to create the centerpieces for a wedding we were hosting where I work. The entire staff was friendly and cooperative throughout the madness that ensues before any wedding, even though our prep area was in rather tight quarters. We watched, between tasks as the most beautiful bouquets and arrangments emerged from the seemingly endless buckets of roses, hydrangeas and greenery. They were hands down the best flowers we have ever had, at any event, in out banquet facility. Today I went with my mother to Madison’s on the square for lunch. It was wonderful, but that’s for another review. The tea room is connected to LeFleur so, remembering the wedding we had worked, we decided to take a look at the shop. Not only were we greeted when we walked in but the ladies remembered us from that wedding! Some of the items in the shop were a little pricey, but many looked handmade and unique. I didn’t even go in to shop really but ended up buying a lovely hanging glass orb pendant thing. It was only 18.00 and is rather large(about 10in tall and 8in wide with an opening to put little plants or baubles inside). I have seen ones similar to this but the size of a Christmas ornament sell for the same price. So I thought it was a good buy. In my opinion if you want something uniquely beautiful as a gift or for your home, this place has a lot to choose from. If you absolutely must have someone greet you at the door in order for you to have a pleasnt shopping expirence and you want things dirt cheap, theres always WalMart.

Having grown up in Washington, I am always happy to see new and up and coming stores on the square. With that being said, I have tried hard to like this store. It has some really nice items for sale and the floral décor is beautiful, albeit quite expensive. But customer service is truly lacking. I’ve been to this business twice and both times, I’ve been completely ignored by the people working there. Not a we’re-super-busy-and-can’t-acknowledge-you kind of ignore but rather the women will look at you and look right back down. As a new business who is trying to garner a well earned reputation, my suggestion would be that you be less cold to your customers and actually make them feel welcome to your store. A simple ‘hello’ or ‘What can we help you with today?” would go a tremendously long way.
