Los Cabos

Margaritas are delicious, service is good, food is delicious and seems fresh. They have a really good quesedilla filled with veggies and meat. Lunch specials are awesome.

This is a great little Mexican restaurant in a small town. My coworker and I stopped in for lunch. I got the Carne Asada Burrito, he got the El Dorado burrito. The Carne Asada was great tasting, but there wasn’t a huge amount of meat in my burrito. His burrito was STUFFED with chicken, but he said the chicken was a bit bland. The chips and salsa, rice, and beans were all great. The server was also terrific. The prices were very cheap. Will definitely go back.

Tasty, consistent, and cheap. An easy choice for lunch/​dinner. Classic Americanized Mexican offerings. They make the yummy white cheese dip here. I usually really enjoy their salsa verde. Different people make it so the flavor can vary a little.

Best Mexican food around! It is also a fairly cheap option for my family of 5.

Used to love this place but the last few times in 2014 were not so good. We have sent food back 2 times and they discounted our meal as well both times. But we have not been happy with the quality over the last few months.
We are planning on meeting my wife’s sister and brother in law tonight for diner and I tried to talk them into going to Los Cabos with no luck. Looks like Hawthorns or the Landing.
I hope the owners read this and address the quality issues. I think they are great people and I wish them the best. It is a shame to see such great quality food go this direction.

I went back to Los Cabos, because that’s where we were meeting friends.
I did not buy a pitcher this time, and the margaritas were immensely better.
Definitely worth another star.

Great food and great atmosphere. The service is good to. I enjoy going here with friends to drink margaritas and have some authentic Mexican food.

Off high st. yeah, they must be high! Let’s talk about the moment we walked in the door, myself and 3 of my friends from out of town, one visiting from Europe. We were not greeted by anyone for at least 5 minutes!!! After someone finally spoke to us, they sat us in the corner of the back room and a server finally poked on over. Barely speaking or making eye contact with us, we order 4 beers, without relaying any specials she talked us into a bucket which wasn’t helpful at all being as there was only 5 beers in a bucket. After finally getting our beer and ordered food, she said she’d bring us more COLD chips & salsa. At this point we should of known it was downhill from here (being as I have 6 years of restaurant experience.) nearly 30 minutes later we get our cold, crunchy food. Didn’t want to bother the server any more so we just decided to finish the beers and have a couple bites and leave. Here comes the best part, we go to complain to the host about our experience. she says she’s sorry and blames it on a bad night in the kitchen. I am curious as to where the manager is during all of this, much less any of the other staff. So after fighting for the correct change (host-​barely old enough to work, couldn’t make change for $ 100). Safe to say We left UNHAPPY and won’t ever be returning. I have never complained or left a review but honestly this was terrible and could of been redeemed before we left had a manager been on site! Only gave it 1 star bc I had no other choice.

The food is very average, the service is as well. You receive your food piping hot and quickly.
I don’t care for their salsa because it has absolutely no kick to it (and trust me, I am not a spicy person, I just want a hint of heat.)
But hey, the margs are good.

For the second year in a row an event brought me to Washington close to Cinco De Mayo. Both times I ate at Los Cabos. This year it was actually on Saturday, Cinco De Mayo. The place was packed, of course. That is usually not the best time to go anywhere. But here it was awesome.
After a short wait to seat our party of 15+ people, we had the Margarita with Grand Marnier. I forget the name, but a fishbowl of that is the way to go and all you will need for the evening. ;)
They had karaōke and dj tunes… heck… peeps were dancing. I love it!
The free stuff was good, too… A nice salsa and chips that were not greasy.
My dinner was some kind of chicken and chorizo and cheese concoction. That Margarita did a number on me. But I do remember it being salty and spicy and delicious. I did not here any complaints from our group, either. We had a great time.

I’ve been to this location about a dozen times and also to the location in New Melle five times or so, and every visit has been a good experience. The staff at both locations have always been really attentive, even during busier times. The food is in the decent to above average range, which is just about right for the prices they charge. I stick mainly to the chicken section of the menu, and the Pollo Adobado is one of my old standbys.
Oh, and they have TVs too, so you won’t miss the game. Unless the game you want to watch is on at the same time as a soccer match. Then you’re just SOL, gringo.

The food is great the service is very fast. If your in the mood for a great drink this is the place to go… By far the best Mexican I’ve ever had!
