If you want the best of the«Little Washington» fast food experience, THIS is the place, and it has been for 40 years. Same local Italian family using family recipes. The sauce and dough are artisanal quality. Simplicity of the pizza hew’s closely to the narrow, Neapolitan idea of pizza either being cheese, pepperoni, or Margarita. They don’t want to be everything to everybody. They want to do what they do superbly and they accomplish that in spades. Very few people eat Osso’s subs or pizza just once. Those who complain are, I am sorry to say, accustomed to low-quality, soft-dough products like one finds at, say, Little Caesars. Ask ANY native Washingtonian where they eat FIRST when they return home and the answer is always«Osso’s».

I grew up in Pittsburgh and always loved Osso’s pizza. It was such a treat when my dad would take us here or bring it home for us. The taste and the sauce is like nothing else. They do it one way because that’s all they need to do, it’s THAT good. I now live 4 hours away in Northern Virginia and have been known to drive home a different route to swing by and pick up some pizza first. Someone else here said their family mails to them, never thought of that, looks like I will be getting Osso’s for my next birthday! Also…it’s a family owned local business that has been around for decades, you gotta love that. If it ever closed down, I’d probably buy a lifetime supply and freeze it.

I heard so many good things about osso’s pizza. However, I was throughly disappointed. Their only topping is pepperoni and I did not like their crust at all. I prefer 5 star pizza over theirs. But to each their own.

Sooooo finally tried this pizza. It in NO way compares to Dicarlo’s in Steubenville and Weirton. I grew uo eating that pizza now i live here. It’s not bad though. They should change their pepperoni.

I really didn’t care for the pizza, at all. There was one instance I liked it. coming back from a concert one night in Burgettstown I was pretty drunk and our DD stopped there and we all loaded up on it. Not sure how much that says for it as I see a lot of positive reviews but it just doesn’t do it for me.

This place is wonderful. Good, inexpensive and best of all tasty! Its pizza done in a simple and straightforward manner and it’s done right! Pizza burgers are out of this world good! Don’t expect any fancy toppings… you get cheese or you add pepperoni. Served by the«square». Osso’s has always been my first stop back home no matter where in the world I have been.

If you’re looking for a great alternative to the big chain pizzeria’s, Osso’s is your place! It’s this tiny little family-owned place that cannot be faked or replicated. The pizza is amazing — their sauce is really what makes them stand out! The lines are always huge, and for good reason! And you can’t beat the price — .80 cents per piece! They also have lots of subs, if pizza isn’t your thing, and their sausage sandwiches are the best. But I prefer to stick with their specialty — their pizza. It’s square cut, and it usually comes with one pepperoni slice in the middle per piece. You CAN ask them to take off the pepperoni if you need to(for Lent, for example), and you can also ask them to give you more middle pieces if you’re not a big fan of crust.(Pro tip: the middles are the best!) And don’t worry about leftovers — you can always put it in the fridge and eat it in the morning for a good ol’ Pennsylvanian breakfast!

There is just something about it. Freshly made dough and great cheese. It’s made on trays and cut into squares. It is always packed and this place has been here for many years. A definite sign. They also have burgers, hoagies, and fried items. There’s is just something about it.

My girlfriend and her family all love this little place. I personally don’t get it. Maybe it’s a nostalgic thing. We got pizza there last night and it only comes one way, square cut with one pepperoni slice in the center. The pizza wasn’t bad. It had a crispy crust but the taste of the sauce was only average in my opinion. The best part about this place is the price; .80 cents per slice. They also sell sandwiches for a bargin price. I’m not knocking Osso’s but I wouldn’t go out of way for thier pizza either.

I simply don’t get the fascination with this place. Not that great, school cafeteria pizza was better. Guess it’s a sentimental local thing. Friendly people though… Does have a charm, just not great food.

Totally in LOVE with Osso’s pizza! The lines are long for a reason! The pizza is amazing! My once a week treat! You can’t get better pizza in Washington Pa! Plus it’s a family business… can it get better? If you have not had Osso’s pizza before please do yourself a favor and get a box!

Simply pizza, real pizza no choices just pep and cheese the way pizza was meant to be… a must when I come home to visit family. Living on the west coast for over 20 years I miss real east coast pizza!

Had to try the place because every time I went by it was packed. The pizza was just medicore for me and I enjoy«square» pizza. Im from the Steubenville area where we have places like DiCarlos & Giannamores and I enjoy their pizza much more. Just seemed kind of bland to me. But pizza can never be too bad!

Obviously the local best thing going is usually a fad! Ossos pizza is a fixture! Great for years! Still remember sitting on the tailgate of my dad’s pickup truck as a kid in the parking lot picking the three slices of pepperoni off and eating them separate. Awesome!

Short wait, with five people ahead of us, maybe not even 5 minutes. Great pizza. Two saucy thumbs up!

Osso’s is the best pizza in Little Washington. They’ve been around a long time and will be around for a long time. 5 stars !

Best pizza in town period. They don’t even have to deliver because the customers come to them

Delicious and consistent each time I visit. I grew up on DiCarlos and feel the same vibe with this place. A tight authentic looking building with little room inside causes customers to get close and you can watch every pizza that’s being made. Kudos to the family for keeping things rolling.

This is my number 1 pizza place. It’s incredibly simple, fresh, thin crust, not greasy, square slices of lust-worthy bliss. No toppings, no choosing, just one piece of pepperoni per slice and one damn happy Pennsylvania boy.

This is the other big plus of Washington — Osso’s rocks. A non chain that has been around for decades —– the pizza is by sheets, reasonable sized crust — perfect sauce.
