Suburban Propane

I’m a tenant at a rental home for three years and on will call when need propane from suburban propane, They feel as though they need to deliver gas when ever they think I need it. They arrived and delivered 16 gal of propane for a cost of 120 dollars I called and disputed the charges they responded saying its a minimal delivery charge regardless of quantity delivered, they are one of the biggest propane scams out there definitely do your homework before you sign a contract with this company

I agree. Wish I could give them a negative 5 stars!!! Horrible customer service and constantly having to check for increases in price. Not sure how they remain in business.

I wish I could give negative 5 stars, but Unilocal does not allow that. This propane company constantly raises the customers $ on EVERY DELIVERY to the maximum. I have had to call and question EVERY BILL ON EVERY DELIVERY I HAVE EVER GOTTEN. Then the «lets make a deal» nonsense starts. And then they come down a little on the bill but not to the $ that most of their competitors charge. I threatened to get another company & that’s when the fear tactics start to place as much doubt as they can for you to stay. Debbie in customer service has this down to a science. They start at about 100% more than they should and well, you know «let’s make a deal» they even charge for «tank rental» that no one else does. I have asked the office manager to call me & well that was some 3+ months ago. I have been changing my tanks out to Stem Brothers & I can tell you that the $ they charge is fair & reasonable & much lower with NO TANK RENTAL FEE. DO YOUR HOME WORK NOT ONLY WHEN YOU SIGN WITH THEM BUT MONITOR THE BILL & YOU WILL SEE WHAT I MEAN! Don’t take my word for it ask around but be careful.
