The Toffee House

So they have some toffee called «The Dangerous Stuff.» It is!
This little place is tucked back in an industrial area, but has a really nice showroom and very friendly staff. We got lots of tins this year as Christmas gifts and are quite pleased with the experience, and of course the product… some of the best toffee I’ve tasted!

The Dangerous Stuff is downright sinful. I’ve been ordering it from The Toffee House nearly every Christmas since I saw them on the Food Network six or seven years ago. I can finish a one pound tin by myself in three days easy. Just for comparison I ordered the toffee that has been featured in the Legal Zoom ad, and while it’s very good, I still prefer Toffee House.

You haven’t lived life until you’ve tried a piece of toffee from The Toffee House. I was first introduced to this place by my husband who brought home a tub of «The Dangerous Stuff» — needless to say it was gone within the hour. My family and extended family now love The Stuff too! The store itself was recently extended and is now much larger than it used to be. Being that it is a family owned business, you’ll actually feel like family when you walk in and are greeted with the sweet smell of chocolate and an accompanying smile.
The gift baskets are also great and so is the caramel. YUMMMM. We really can’t get enough of this place and as I’m writing this review, I find my mouth watering for some of that toffee!
It is not too hard to find if you are in Washington, PA — and if you are in the area, you’ll def want to check it out. Worth every penny and every calorie!

The Place — It is a little store tucked in the back of an industrial area and it is a family run biz.
The guy was real nice & asked if we had tried their product and I said «no» and he gave us samples of the «Dangerous Stuff». Then… even w/​o us asking let us try their chocolate orange bark, Emma’s toffee and creamy fudge.
The Food —
1.) Dangerous Stuff — was skeptical cuz I dont really like toffee or nuts. but can’t even taste the walnut and the toffee don’t stick to your teeth. soo good. real sweet but doable
2.) Bark — good stuff, light flavor but still taste the chooclate
3.) Emma’s — almond topped & have white, milk & dark chocolate on both sides vs. only on 1 side like the dangerous stuff

It’s like eating a piece of heaven. I so love the ‘Dangerous Stuff”. I wish they would sell some in the west coast. Shipping to west cost is super expensive.

Online place to buy super delicious English Almond Toffee. I first saw them on the Food Network — a small family business that expanded like mad. If you try the toffee, I’m sure you’ll understand. They don’t offer much of anything else (and I haven’t tried the other offerings), but they do the toffee extremely well. If you’re looking for a tasty gift, give them a try.
