Some families pray together. Some play Scattegories or ski together. Others just drink together. My family goes thrifting and consigning together. I think I had been here last year, but I don’t remember my experience. I popped back in with my mom and sister recently, fueled by leftover Thanksgiving vittles, with bargains and interesting finds on the brain. We were greeted immediately by a couple of super friendly ladies manning the counter and started to browse. Twice As Nice has all the typical inventory of a small thrift store. Clothes, jewelry, home décor, knick knacks, wigs, a DVD of Snow Dogs. The space is small but they have a decent amount of items packed in there. It’s very easy to browse and maneuver through the aisles. They tag each item with the month that it came in, and if the item has been there a certain number of months they will be happy to give you a discount off the ticketed price. Oh, the prices? I found them to be definitely reasonable. My sis found a pair of earrings, and I ended up hauling home a bracelet, small retro mirror, and a very cool decorative plate. Total damage? Around $ 15. Not too shabs. Not too shabs.
