Wine Loves Chocolate

this is great and fun place to check out great wine and amazing chocolate and truffles. We did a very fun wine and chocolate tasting with the very knowledgable and polite staff. The truffle bar has so many options of great flavored and assortments of truffle and is all customize able to suit any needs. This a unique and fun place that I would recommend to anyone.

This little shop is owned by Carl and Diane, the owners of Little Washington Winery just a few miles away. This shop is SO much fun — a DIY truffle bar compiled of different chocolates from local chocolatiers (Lexington and Charlottesville). For Valentine’s Day, they’re selling the chocolate truffle box named #1 in America. Each truffle is $ 2.50, and you can buy as many as you want. I chose to buy 2, one Jack Daniels truffle for my husband and one champagne dark chocolate truffle for me. He liked his and mine was AWESOME.
They don’t just have the truffle bar, they also do a wine tasting of their Reserve Wines and sell a variety of wines at the shop. It’s within walking distance of The Inn at Little Washington and they host many wine classes Friday — Sunday at 3pm. Call for information on what’s coming up soon.
