It was amazing! Great food, and the staff are so warm and friendly. We came just after breakfast time and they still made us two delicious breakfast dishes. Eggs Benedict and Chicken Fried Steak. It made our day. We will tell our friends about this place.

In the rural community of Washoe Lake, about 4 miles from where we are camping at Washoe Lake State Park, there’s a family, mom and pop, deli. Good sandwiches, good pizza and cold microbrew on tap. Big screen for your viewing pleasure. Also, movie rentals. Very friendly service. For instance, the owner(lady) bought my wife and I a round of beer, while the fire department inspected a suspicious package in our campground. The campground had to be evacuated. The lady owner was concerned that her community was inconveniencing the state park guests. Some groceries, beer, ice and ice cream to go. I really like this quaint, cozy-country-cowboy store to hang out with a cold beer and sandwich or pizza. I like all its goodness here! Cheers!

My family and I eat here on occasion. The pizza is good. They put the cheese on top of the pepperoni which is different, but still tastes good. The other food is pretty good too. You can call it in and then go pick it up. Pretty easy and it’s close by(for those times you don’t feel like driving into town). Always friendly service.

Great pizza and burgers. The salads and appetizers are mostly pre-made or frozen items, and are decent. This place not only has food but liquor, antiques, etc. Best food in washoe!

Tasty enough pizza but overall, very greasy food that has little flavor or comes from a frozen box them deep-fried.

We have been patronizing this spot for several years and it is always consistently good. Of course, the pizza is not designed in a corporate pizza lab but the veggie with meatballs that we order is always yummy. Being only two minutes away makes it more tasty too! We pick out a bottle of wine and they pop it open and provide the glasses. Looks like local kids do all the cooking and serving and they always do a great job. It is great for take-out and they have a huge selection of beverages.

so after moving in to a new house my wife and i were forced to eat out for a couple days durring transition. never been in the place or even seen it at this point. good to go pizza is really the only thing close for quick take out.(20 – 25 minutes to reno or carson city) so we try a medium cheese pizza and some jalapeño poppers. not expecting much from a small mom and pop joint in the middle washoe city; im shocked with what my wife walks back in to the house with… a pizza that was actually better than any pizza ive had in reno or tahoe, hands down! the poppers werent anything special but still good and came with ranch without asking, i like! but the kicker is my wife walked in with two tall boys of Newcastle ale and a half gallon of milk? wtf, how is that, maybe she went to the next closest thing the 7 – 11? nope… good to go is more of a small convience store/video rental store/pizza and burgers joint/small liquor store. it has it all and i support mom and pop and not 7 – 11. needless to say my first experience was pretty hard to top! as stated above we had to eat out a few nights so… second trip was just as good, but this time we ate in! they have indoor seating and flat screen tvs that had football on. we were also the only people in there this evening, but there were 4 – 5 people doing pick ups as we were there. so i had a turkey burger and my wife got coconut shrimp appetizer and we split some frys. burger was excellent and if it wasnt 1⁄3 lb id be shocked, it was filling. wifes shrimp was good but they had run out of coctail sauce and didnt have any sweet and sour. thats the only negative and the staff was sorry for the inconvience. the frys were very good too; ¼ to½ inch thick and not crunchy but firm; maybe im weird but i dont like hard or crunchy frys. so the next night again… no, i had to take a break from good to go. hard to do the same place 3 times in a row. i did however stop there on the way home from where we ate(youll never know) i stoped there and got a nice bottle of wine at a fair but slightly exagerated price. i call it convience tax. whatever, it was good, close and fair… oh and not a corporation… its local! i will visit again many many more times!

I’m giving it 2 stars instead of a usually well-deserved 3 or even a possible 4 star review based on my order yesterday. According to the cashier, «cheese» is considered a topping. No, I don’t mean EXTRA cheese– I mean the cheese that covers the sauce and the crust which forms the foundation of a pizza according to Webster’s Dictionary. I was informed that due to rising costs I was being charged for a 3 topping when I ordered a pepperoni, ½ green pepper pizza because«cheese» is a topping. I don’t mind paying extra for a carryout box, paying more for a pizza because I don’t want to drive to Reno or Carson City or even paying for a full extra topping when it really was only half a topping. I do, however, mind being charged for an additonal topping when that topping is the cheese considered one of the elementary ingredients. I wonder what would happen if I called and ordered a pizza and when asked what I wanted on it, I replied,” Nothing.” What a bummer. I liked their pizza.

This looks like a pretty nice place to eat if you’re in Washoe Valley. I got the pizza and I liked it, but it wasn’t good enough that I’d drive to New Washoe City just to eat there. The dough is handmade. My only complaint was that i got the meat pizza and the sausage overwhelmed everything else. There is a wine selection in the store but it’s mostly wine you’d find in a supermarket.
