Discount Tire Store – Watauga, TX

This place is tops. I needed an emergency tire replacement and this place was close to me. I lucked out. The service was incredibly friendly, fast, and helpful. The guy that helped me knew his stuff about tires, and was more than happy to walk me through everything I needed to know about my tires and the replacements I needed. The price was super affordable, and $ 100 cheaper/​tire than I was quoted at another place. They were finished in less than ten minutes and had me on my way. I will definitely come back here.

I popped in yesterday after work to have them check out my tires to see if they needed replaced. Let me give you the best piece of advice for dealing with DT — if you can, do yourself the enormous favor and MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! I was blown away at how busy it was in there. The waiting area was completely full. Apparently this is the norm.
I will say even given the time and how insanely busy it was in there, these guys were awesome! They acknowledged me immediately when I walked in and rushed to assist me as soon as possible. The guy performed the free tire inspection and agreed that I was well overdue for a new set of car shoes. We walk back in and go through the check out process which was a breeze. I was shocked at the pricing but I guess I haven’t bought a full set of 4 in awhile! haha After I select what I want and pay, I ask how long the wait will be. I was quoted about an hour and a half. I thought that was super extreme. Again — make an appointment!
In total I probably waited close to an hour and 45 mins which was a crazy amount of time to wait for tires. The only reason I deducted a star was because of the wait and because I noticed they were handling customers that came in after me — before me. I understand others may have been quicker or easier to get in and out (like 1 tire being replaced versus all) however, if I came in first, I should be served first. Just the way I see it. Outside of that the customer service here is amazing! The workers here really seemed to care and are very attentive! Minus the long wait, I had a perfect experience and highly recommend these guys!

These guys are SO nice! Maybe it’s because they just opened, but I’m still so pleased! I’ll be back for a tire rotation next.

Guys here are a joke. They charge higher then the other discount tire place. Not only that dont have anymore water bottle that is just sad.

The guys here are awesome, efficient, and honest. I’ve been having a bit of trouble with one of my tires (it seems to find all the nails laying around) and they take care of me every time. Regardless of what another reviewer said, they do not treat the female gender any different than the male. I have always bought my tires at discount and I will continue doing so! They definitely have a customer for life. After all of this, did I mention that they have never charged me? They’re repairing TWO of my tires today. They are amazing, I recommend them to everyone that I talk to needing tires/​tire related services!

Store manager Aaron is a good dude, always tries to help. The wait is always at minimum an hour. It sux. Sometimes it takes 2 hours until I’m out. Overall good service, but understaffed and not enough bays for demand.
