World Market

While I do love World Market, I’m going to have to agree w a previous review about their customer service– 1 cashier working with 4 people in line? There was plenty of staff on duty– two of which I saw at another register. What is that all about? Since when is sticking more important than ringing up customers to make profit? Another very thoughtful customer in front of me offered to let me go first (I didn’t even say anything or make a scene). So weird she sensed my frustration.

I’ll be completely honest, I only go to World Market about once a month to stock up on the goodies they sell in the little grocery section in the back. I have a soft spot for pizzelles (delicate little Italian waffle cookies) and sugar free torani coffee syrups and they have an excellent selection of both. Most recently I bought a bag of truly horrible Dutch salted licorice because I’d been curious about it (it’s growing on me though!), there’s a huge variety of international candies and sometimes it’s fun to pick up something new :)
World Market has all sorts of furniture, housewares, wines and beers. Lots of color and texture to be found here! I’ve never seen anyone actually buying furniture here and it seems they’re always advertising a huge sale on furniture items so I have to wonder if it’s just not priced well or something. Still worth a look!

Anytime that I enter this store, I get even more and more amazed at the product selections that are offered. Located next door to PetSmart in a plaza off of Denton Hwy 377, World Market has a massive selection of craft beers, wine and champagne that are reasonably priced. In addition, there is also quite a bit of accessories that are situated all over the store.
I also recently discovered that World Market offers wine tasting on most Saturdays from 1 – 4. The tasting table (in addition to ginger beers, coffee and snacks) are located within the back left hand corner of the store. You’ll also be offered a passport at no cost to partake within the wine tasting event. Well worth the time.
Customer service is good, yet most of the employees are situated within the front of the store. There are a couple that tend to float around the store to assist customers. Overall, one store that you can easily spend up to one hour in and not notice due to the high quantity volume of alcohol selection.

Wanted to purchase an item in the $ 300 – 400 range and asked a representative to check on the stock. The verbage that I used was «purchase.» Key word boys and gals. This girl kept me waiting almost 10 minutes! I went to the front of the store and instead purchased some novelty item. She showed up right when I was about to swipe my card. Her excuse, «I had to help 3 people before I could make it back.»
So let me ask you did you make more money off those three people? Does your manager know you lost a $ 400 dollar sale with that go-​getter attitude?
Learn how to prioritize. If I was a manager here, I’d prioritize some better employees.

Love this store! They have really neat items and a great selection of craft beers or wine. Going in here makes me wanna cook with new kitchen gadgets then have a glass of good wine! Friendly service too!

I love this World Market! I love to cook so I always hit the kitchen section here to find out what they have on clearance or on sale. I got a really nice set of large stacking mugs & some large stacking bowls that really helped make space in my cabinets a couple years ago that I adore using. Plenty of unique cookware & a good selection of tableware & glassware too. What I typically go in here for though is to cruise their spice section & to get root beer, gourmet sodas. So far it’s the only place in the Keller area that I have found Bundaberg root beer, which I looovee! It’s a great place for stocking suffers & unique gifts around the holidays as well.

I went here with a hipster, AKA «Hippie/​Tree Hugger», and I was impressed:-) A lot of contemporary furnishings to bring life into an Apt., Townhouse or House. Customer Service was friendly and helpful. Most employees educated me on decors to bring back «life» into a person’s dwelling. The way I see it, it’s always good for change and it’s good to change constantly in a person’s home décor. Never thought I’d say this, «Peace Out with the Hippie/​Tree Huggers ain’t bad at all!»

World Market is my favorite store, pretty much, ever.
They have a really decent selection of craft beers, and they even have craft beer pint glasses for really decent prices.
They’ve got adorable things you can decorate your house with, most of it is bohemian-​chic and amazing. I have several throw pillows from here. They’re all fantastic.
They’ve also got one of the best.things.ever… Vosges Dark Bacon Chocolate bar. I haven’t had much luck finding it many other places, other than the Vosges store in the Caesar’s palace mall, but they always have it waiting here for me whenever I just can’t take the craving!
The employees are always friendly and helpful, and you can almost always find really good deals on things if you wait for the sales. I recently got a beach umbrella that I turned into a patio umbrella for only $ 10!!! Most patio umbrellas cost a ton.

i like coming to this one it has great staff and they are plentiful which means they are around more when i need help especially in the wine section. it would get 5 but some of the staff like just standing around in circles talking about what to do that night. thats cool.

Well I just wanted to post a review about my new bottle-​opener ring!
I was in before Christmas, and saw this gadget. 2 to a package and at $ 5, it seemed like a fun gift for my brother.
Flash forward and were opening gifts. He loves it and give me one (I was hoping he would do that). Now we have matching rings and they came in handy for all that beer drinking that we did.
A couple other friends thought they were cool, so when I got back to TX I went an bought two more. I’ll be sending them off soon. If you want a fun gift, the bottle opener ring is fun, useful and cool.

Nice store. Come for the selection of beer and wines, as well as an assortment of spices and food items from all over. The Sales associates don’t harass you which is awesome.
