Quick Chek Food Store

I like this Quick Chek. It is centrally located at the bottom of Johnston Drive which makes it convenient when u need to
pick up last minute odds and ends, or if u need a warm cup of coffee or snacks, or lottery tickets.
The staff is always friendly and helpful. I was told they are open 365 days a year b/​c it is family run and between all the relatives they take turns running the place and staying open.
I happened to have stopped in for last minute ice cream and couldn’t find it. The gentleman behind the counter asked me if I needed any help. When I told him what I was looking for he pointed me in the right direction to a separate case which held just frozen ice cream. I found the vanilla flavor and i was in and out in a few minutes.
They have their own private parking lot. This store can be accessed from Johnston dr, Watchung Ave, and Somerset Street.
I would give them 4 stars but they are not open late in the evening.
