Horrible!!! Never again… want cheap? this is a place for you.
made the appointment via web, signed up all forms and waited for about 25 minutes while they have PIZZA!!! The dr was eating at the exam room stinking up the place… unbelievable. If you are having lunch do not book any appointments. Very unprofessional environment, the staff didn’t stop talking (yapping). Walked away… you should too.

They are always under staffed and everytime we go there we are rushed out. We had to pick up bifocals and because they are always rushing, they put the line in the wrong place. We had them redo it 3 times before we asked for a refund. Since that was not our first bad experience, we will not be back.

SUPER HAPPY-​Excellent service at Watchung Target Optical. This particular Target, inside the regular Target, by the pharmacy, gave me shockingly great customer service when I got my new glasses. I had purchased the Target insurance (totally worth the $ 30 if you have kids or are rough on glasses) when I got a new pair about a year ago in another state and when I went to get them replaced in Watchung, they replaced them without hesitation and let me choose a different frame *of any price* bc they no longer carried the one I had originally gotten. The people there spent a lot of time with me, never made me feel rushed and when I went back, on a Sunday, an hour after they had *closed*, the manager woman still took my order! She was there late working after hours and saw me and let me in and let me browse since she had to work to do any way. They run this optical shop like an old-​fashioned family-​owned optician. I will definitely go back for my sunglasses. Then, to top it off, she upgraded my lenses to a high def lens at no extra charge bc she wanted me to be happy and satisfied with the new pair! It just goes to show that it is the *people* who operate each individual store that make it awesome. The woman, who, I think, manages the optical store in Watchung, sets a tone there and the guy and other woman who work there all focus on customer service, too. I completely recommend those hi def lenses (you will be shocked at the difference in clarity), the insurance and especially this branch of Target optical. My original pair, which were terrible progressive bifocals, were purchased out of state at a Target in CT and they never fit right and the rx seemed like it was off center. This woman remeasured me, twice and I am super happy with the result. Best part? The new glasses only cost me the $ 25 copay for progressives!
