Great place, nice crowd. They have a decent selection of beer and alcohol. The bartenders make a good drink. The food is good, especially the wings.

I don’t want to tell you this but it’s an all day happy hour on Wednesday 3 $ any beer you want. I know crazy right, taco Tuesday, best bartenders in New England! Mets friendly bar LGM

Boru’s has the best wings hands down. Not just in Waterbury, but in New Haven county. Sweet Heat is my favorite, but to be honest, I have not tried one flavor I didn’t like. I am very picky about my wings. They have to be fully cooked-no rubber skin, and crispy-these wings are just that! The number one reason why I am submitting my review is because of their consistency. There has never been a time that I went and they were cooked differently. There is no such thing as a ‘bad batch’.

Your typical«college kid» bar. Great for going out for a bunch of drinks and the wings are TODIE for. The staff is always very friendly and gets to your order quickly and promptly and actually talks to you rather then just throwing a drink at you and moving on. I’ve been here a couple times and the food is always good. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because it’s very tiny. It can get cramped in there on a Friday or Saturday night and there are plenty of drunken idiots wanting to start arguments or bumping into you. Also, the last time I was here, there was a lady outside asking everybody for money and getting very close to us until a bartender came out and basically screamed at her to get away from us, apparently she is a regular that frequents the parking lot asking for change. Other than that, I would recommend this place to get a quick bite of awesome«pub» style food and cheap drinks!

I came for the $ 2, and stayed for the food. This is one of my go to bars in the area. There’s usually always a really good mix of people, great music, and great bar tenders. It’s a hole in the wall so you really can’t expect it to be visually exciting. Sometimes it can be crowded, sometimes it can be completely dead, but the quality always stays the same. Like others have mentioned, the appeal of the $ 2 beers during happy hour and on Wednesday nights is what brought them here. The tap selection is better than most places. There’s usually always at least one lager, ale, IPA, stout, and macro on tap. Wings are amazing, so are the fries. Great place to meet up with friends or maybe grab a late meal and beer after work.

Happy hour and pricing is awesome $ 2 draft $ 4 normal. Drafts are boring but acceptable Sam Adams, Bad Guinness, Lagunitas, PBR etc. Jackie is a cool bartender. The pizzas aren’t bad as long as the oven is actually on when you order it.

Went for drinks. Had the cheese pizza… wow. The pizza is served on a wooden peel, size is plenty and can serve 2. The pizza is unique as its grilled. Price is very reasonable at $ 7.99. Tried the buffalo wings also, very tasty and crunchy and one of the best I have had in a bar.

I love everything about Boru’s and I have since the first moment I stepped inside. I remember about 6 years ago hearing people at a restaurant I used to work at, talk about this place… Boru’s? I had asked people and they had said it was an Irish pub that had changed names and hands but was still awesome… so I figured I’d check it out. The crowds have changed some over the year. but the types of people have not. They run the gammon of eccentric to elderly and every stop in between but everyone is friendly. The bartenders are fast and efficient. The owners are lively and happy to see you. The kitchen pumps out delicious food like wings, mac and cheese and burgers. I do not go as often as I’d like anymore(I used to be there everyday when I was younger)… but I can rest assured that anytime I do walk in for some pitchers of beer and wings that I’ll know at least a handful of people. Boru’s is Irish but not. It’s young but it’s not It’s hard to explain… but I’m sure that you’d love. I had my first kiss with my boyfriend here during Superbowl… over 4 years ago… Look at Boru’s makin love connections for long term… or simply for just the night ;).

Pretty nice bar in Waterbury. Mostly twentysomething crowd, students and the like. Very nice, energetic bartenders. I know they have some live music and an open mic, but I’ve never been to it. Definitely one of the more promising bars in Waterbury.

Awesome local friendly drinking spot. Fun nights and chill evenings. Twenty five cent wings and five dollar pitchers on Sunday. Great times.
