I ordered delivery from here the other day and it was really good. I kept saying I wanted to try it and then I saw they recently joined grub hub so I jumped on it right away. Butter chicken was good served with a huge portion of rice and I ordered a side of the garlic naan which was also good and a large portion. It came with two side sauces I also enjoyed– I’ll be ordering again soon for sure.

The food is halal and really good. Try bolani in appetizers and then try anything for the main course. You’ll love it. We go here a lot. Staff is very polite and food is fresh and delicious. Try anything. We eat afghan food but wings are good too.

Came here a few days ago around 2:00. We were the only people in here. Out waitress was super nice. I ordered the chicken curry and my boyfriend had the chicken shawarma platter. Portions were a good size and food tasted delicious and fresh! Curry wasn’t unbearably spicy either but had the perfect kick. My only complaint is my meal arrived almost ten minutes before my boyfriends but I think our waitress was the only person there so I get it. We will deff be back!

Just finished eating here. The location is in a plaza and when we walked into the restaurant you can definitely tell it is family run. The girl behind the counter was in here teens and shy. When she spoke you had to focus on what she was saying or else you would have to ask her to repeat herself. Nothing against her I approve of family run businesses. It’s a sit where you want place. We sat furthest away from the door since it was a cold day. Place looked a little outdated, but we didn’t come here for the looks the reviews for this place were for the food. As far as food goes the menu reminded me of a Turkish restaurant Sultans in Waterbury. I ordered the butter chicken with rice. After we placed our orders the food took long time to come out and she also brought our drinks when the food came out. Definitely would have liked the drinks first. The meal was good, nothing spectacular the way other reviewers are talking about. Meal was hot had taste but nothing that would make me tell my family to come here every other week, just a average good meal. One huge problem that I had was that while we were waiting for food to come there were kids in the employee/kitchen area. I have nothing against kids except that all you heard was the kids coughing up a storm! Not something you want to hear when you’re waiting for your food and kids are coughing where they make the food. The kids were also playing video games and the iPad’s were so loud. You could hear the gunshots from the game throughout our whole meal. Other than that you can’t really beat the prices a meal for two costed us 24 dollars. Would I come here again? If there were no other options, yes, but we’re in Waterbury there are always other options.

BESTKEPTSECRETINCONNECTICUT. MUSTGO. The food is AMAZING, and the place is nice and remodeled. I came here before and it’s always this delicious. No pictures this time I’m sorry, but the food didn’t sit in front of me long enough to take pictures. Next time I will. We devoured the food.

Not a busy place when I went on a Monday night, they seem to get several delivery orders. The interior is very busy but welcoming. This feels like a family owned restaurant and the fellow was very nice. I’ve never had Afghan Kabob so I ordered their Waziri combo and it was really good. It was a little over cooked but the flavor was really good. It’s a lot more peppers than the other middle eastern kabobs I’ve had. It wasn’t spicy at all, it was more paprika and peppers. What was amazing though was their special spicy kabob sauce. I poured that all over my kabobs. I also ordered their Naan and it was the thin ones I liked, not the doughy kind. A nice little spot to visit especially for a visitor in the area. On my way out I ordered their homemade Baklava and it was damn good. It too had an initial herbal taste but the sweetness was just right, not too sugary. The owner was very nice as he also wanted me to take some cookies that he just got shipped that day from a bakery from his hometown. Those I am eating now at a meeting next day and it’s pretty good as well.

Well by the time I finished this review it was our 3rd visit to Hasnaa. In the last two visits we noticed a nice facelift of the restaurant. The ambience has become more neat and chic. A corner with Asian carpet back seats. Coming back to food Aha! It’s a delight I mean anything that you find on their menu has that juicy reach texture that will leave you wanting to come for more. Chicken kabab, jouja or the Sultan platter. Waziri and Chapli combos are delicious too. All in all great food. If you happen to be around Waterbury or if you really love good food and want to drive for an hour just like me, then go for it.
