I normally would not bother to review a McDonald’s as I personally think they’re all the same. But on a recent trip to Lake Compounce, we stopped by for a quick bite and a respite from the traffic and to our surprise, they had lobster rolls for $ 8. My girlfriend thought it was worth a try, although I expected another overly fried and salted concoction. However, when we got the roll, it was actual lobster that seemed somewhat fresh and was not fried. I learned later that this promotion is only in New England, which is a shame, because it might just be the best and only thing I like at McDonald’s.

The people that work here are by the book very strict on giving you more than 3 sauces for a 20 piece chicken nuggets !! If you want extra that will be .25 a cup! I always need extra sauce! The frustration !! A 20 piece should include at the minimum 5 sauces! But they accept competitor coupons ! For that to happen it must include the manager so yes it’s a bit of a process! But at least they do it and it will save you money!

This McDonalds got the job done and that is the most I would have expected out of a McDOnalds. This location is easy to get to as it is right off the highway. It was also the only place open for breakfast on a weekend morning! Although I suppose that made my choice easy.
The cashier was a nice guy and the whole place was really calm. Fast food locations can be hit or miss when it comes to staff so that was a welcome discovery.
