We love sundae spa! My granddaughter always has the best time! We love Kim and all her staff! We have been to both locations many, many times we will always be huge sundae spa fans!

Believe what the others here have said. Could be so cute… decorated nicely. But, omg, the people who work there are just miserable. We’re new to the area, and I saw the Groupon, so bought it without knowing much else. I have two girls, so we had two $ 50 Groupons. During this long winter, I took them over one Sunday to get them out of the house. Thought we’d make a few things and use one of the Groupons. The woman working there looked my three year old in the eye and told her she couldn’t make anything because it’s one Groupon per person and her sister was already using it. Seriously. And then they expected me to buy $ 50 worth of lip gloss for a 5 year old. We left. And if I hadn’t already paid for the Groupon, we would never have gone back. But, since the money was already spent, we went back just before it was expiring. I made appointments for the girls to get haircuts and have their nails done. Thankfully, before the appointment, I called to ask a question because during that call I discovered they never wrote the appointment in their books. So before we even went, we had to reschedule. Finally got in yesterday. The place needs more of a «mothering» feel… I mean, these are LITTLEGIRLS for crying out loud. It’s pretty low class and most of the people working there are too young to know how to relate to kids. They spent most of the time talking to each other and gossiping, in front of the girls. There were a couple of people who were giving it a good effort, but the place just feels unwelcoming from the minute you walk in. Don’t bother. There are better options.

With much hesitation, I decided to give sundae spa one more shot, even after my daughters birthday party 2 years ago was a DISASTER and cost me a fortune. Sadly, as expected, our little spa day was just as bad. Let me say, that this place is adorable — so many great ideas and fun stuff, I wouldn’t even mind paying the exorbitant price for a horrible manicure if they kids loved it — hey, it’s $ well spent — BUT — the RUDE staff. Specifically, the woman who runs the show there, «M&M» she’s dreadful. She is SO mean to these little excited girls, so snarky and rushed, she’s always annoyed and just as nasty as can be. I honestly can not understand why she is still there — she was jus as awful 2 years ago. I had a friend with us today with a speech impediment, which was clear. This nasty woman literally yelled at her for not speaking up — and embarrassed her. I had to apologize to the mom when I dropped her daughter off at home, as she was clearly still sad. I watched«M&M’ answer the phone several times and make obnoxious rude comments about caller after she hung up. SO unprofessional. The«manicure» was a smudged mess by the time we left, and she had no time to fix it. YES, it was my daughters fault, but hey — she’s 7, it happens. The cheap places we usually go for a manicure would NEVER let her leave with her nails like that. So sad, because this place could be really really awesome — but honestly, they wont make it there much longer with ‘M&M’ running things and a few more reviews like this one. Save your money, go elsewhere and do NOT book a party here without reading all reviews everywhere.

I would give this 5 stars, but for the cost, we have done a birthday party here(big money), gone to others birthdays here, and done the«me & someone special day» here again BIG bucks, but that said the party went awesome, and every party we’ve been too was great full of giggling happy little girls, and my MIL, myself and my kids had a one of a kind fun day. Hair things stayed in, nail painting ok, make your own glosses fun, dig for gems fun, decorations top notch awesome in the place, music current favs of all the little girls, all the knick knacks/jewelry/soaps/bath fizzes kids will be begging to add on if you’re not broke already lol

Just returned from having my daughter’s 5th birthday party here, and I think I could cry. We just discovered that they forgot to paint her thumbs on her manicure, come on. We also live over 30 miles away(which they knew) so it’s not like I can run back and get them fixed Also, the«party room» really reminded me of a prison cell. They have a larger party area, which is what I saw when I visited, and though it was not in use, we were jammed into a cordened off area that literally was 7 feet wide by 11 feet long, at the most. And, it was beastly hot in there the whole time. While some of the girls were having their hair services and nails done, there was a nice young lady playing games with the other girls who were waiting for their turns. However, these girls were forced to sit on the floor and it was like they literally could not move. These are young kids, and they could not even stand up and play charades as there was no room. There was no laughing or jumping or fun like you would expect at such a party. If someone had to use the restroom, people had to move to get out of way so the door could be opened. I feel totally ripped off. I could not complain on the spot lest I risk further ruining her party. Parties here cost big bucks, and require a mandatory 18% gratuity, yet we did not feel like honored guests. When we arrived exactly 15 minutes before the party was to begin, as they requested, we had to stand around for 10 minutes doing nothing with a box in our hands because they were not ready for us. Not exactly the warm welcome I expected for my birthday girl. I had such high hopes after coming here for a haircut for my daughter and reviewing the website and talking with the owner and party hostess, but I could have hired a high school student for about $ 25 and bought less than $ 50 worth of supplies, and had the party at home and had a much better time. I also was disappointed that they don’t use the more expensive solvent free nail polishes in the party room as they do in the spa. I hate to pan a small family business, but they have got to do better. I trusted my daughter’s birthday party to them, and they failed. In all fairness, my daughter did get a wonderful haircut from«Bubble Gum» on her tricky hair on our scope out visit. I had a lot of people ask me about the party, as they liked the concept which first attracted us, but unfortunately the execution was lacking. Update: The party favors that they give you, «bath cakes» do not have any instructions on them. It would be useful if they had instructions on them either in the form of a sticker or a tag. I am sure my guests had no idea what to do with them and thus they were possibly wasted :(. To give you an idea of what a party here costs, I had a «half off» daily deal here, and the party still cost over $ 20 per girl. The only food included was an ice cream, and they were out of most of their toppings. I had to provide beverages myself. I truly think my brain must have fallen clear out of my head when I booked a party here, even though I truly tried to do my due diligence beforehand. Perhaps it is typical to tip the party staff at a birthday party, but I think requiring an 18% tip above a normal rate approximately $ 20 per hour per girl(the party my daughter had would have cost $ 36.88 per participant plus tax without the deal for two hours) is absurdity in itself. COMPLETELYNOTWORTHIT!!!(and, it’s not like polishing young girls’s nails and sticking a feather in their hair takes a whole lot of skill.) No, I was not told I would be crammed into a space the size of a walk-in closet. Also, the other reviewer’s comments do not make sense. She said over 10 gets a bigger room, I had 8, so we got the smaller room, she had 15 and got both? The point is, the LARGERROOMWASNOTINUSE, but they still jammed us in. It was early afternoon on a Friday. The website says they have a waiting room, but they do not. They have a «retail shop» full of overpriced dollar store junk, so don’t bring smaller kids here, there is nowhere to sit comfortably, and let’s just say Valvoline Oil Change is more kid friendly. My daughter’s hair thing fell out the next day, and they told me it might last 2 months.(It was not her, she has had other ones lasted that long.) The bath cupcakes actually have soap on top. Do not have the ingredients listed on them, and it’s not like it’s toilet paper or anything. Not something we all use on a regular basis. Also, I forwarded my review to the owner, and she never contacted me to follow up. You can use your own judgement about how well run this place is. I would be happy to post photos of us jammed into the closet if anyone would like. Serious Unilocalers will also note that the other review appeared one day after mine, was not about a specific visit, and is the reviewer’s only review. You can draw your own conclusions about that as well.
