Clean restaurant, amazing buffet with so much variety to choose from! Service is excellent. Food is fresh. I love the salad bar here. Everything from sushi to the chocolate fondue, there’s even tacos! Yum!

My favorite Chinese food in the area! The crab rangoons are so addicting! The best deal is to get take out as opposed to dining in. They have a sister property in Midland that has the same menu and food on the buffets.

Food isn’t great. Not much flavor and it’s full of grease. Good luck to those who come during the weekday because you can expect the food to sit there for awhile without being stirred by the cooks. The fruit section and ice cream bar is awful. Ice cream is okay but the toppings(Oreo pieces, gummy bears) are stale. Not even fresh. The fruit slices aren’t ripe and doesn’t look juicy and appetizing at all. The jello isn’t soft like how they should be. This is what you can probably expect from many Chinese Buffets. Like I said, food isn’t great but it’s a place to come when in big groups and you have a hard time picking a place to eat as a whole.

The key to maximizing your Chinese food buffet experience is to identify the most«expensive» items available and load up on them before you mess with the rest. Here are some suggestions: 1. The Wakame Seaweed Salad that is usually $ 3 for a little bowlful at most sushi restaurants. 2. The plentiful selection of sushi rolls(poke out the shrimp tempura if you’re a vegetarian). They’re not the highest quality of rolls, but if you were concerned about that, you wouldn’t be at an all you can eat Chinese buffet in the middle of Waterford, anyway. 3. Select your favorite meats, veggies and sauces, and have them custom cook it for you at the Mongolian BBQ area, to weed out the fillers and other plate-space wasters. Finally, after you’ve recouped your costs and still feel hungry, you may dabble in the other stuff. I personally love me some soup, noodles, and spring rolls; they hit just the right spots. But seriously, if you’re one of those people who go for the mushy mac & cheese, random rock hard pizza, and weird pudding while at a Chinese buffet, please message me and tell me what the hell you’re doing with your life. I’m very curious. Prices are fair. Great deal, even, if you have the foresight or desire to print out the 15% off total bill coupon on their website(must be printed).

Oh, China Jade, I’m sorry for cheating on you! This place was stunningly bad. I couldn’t decide what I wanted, so I thought I’d come here. Sadly, nothing was very good — even the Mongolian Barbecue, where I picked out my own ingredients — was bad. The meat was tough, chewy & fatty, and it managed to be spicy(I don’t know how, as I avoided anything that said it had spice in it) yet bland at the same time. The hot & sour soup was way too spicy. The egg roll was the kind with cabbage, which I don’t like. Nothing was particularly hot. The macaroni and cheese(Seriously? At a Chinese restaurant?) was pasty and obviously from a package. I honestly couldn’t find a single entrée item that was the least bit appealing. The chocolate pudding was ok, the chocolate fountain stuff on a banana wasn’t bad. And the tea was good.(I try to end on a good note.)

For the money, this place can’t be best. They have a wide selection of items. The food is good. They even have a chocolate fountain, a sushi bar and a Mongolian barbeque. There is a 15% off coupon on their website.

Clean and nicely decorated, and the staff members were friendly and right on top of everything. There was a nice variety of dishes, a bit more than average compared to other Chinese buffets that we’ve been to. Everything looked fresh and was presented in a very neat and clean buffet. The food was better than average for a buffet, let’s keep in mind that we are reviewing a buffet and NOT an expensive gourmet restaurant. The deserts let me down a bit, they were fresh but tasted canned. Several reviews have mentioned that the food was cold. I don’t agree. All of the hot dishes were served perfectly hot, the problem is that people put so much on their plates that by the time they get to eating some of it, it has gone cold; NOT the restaurants fault. I think they did a great job with the chocolate fountain. I might suggest a better quality of chocolate, though. The bathrooms were ok, about what you’d find in a fast food place. I like the Golden Buffet and I will eat there again for sure, even if I have to drive past two other chinese buffets to get there. Thumbs Up Golden Buffet!

Pretty disappointing. The menu was plentiful but everything lacked in flavor and was cold. Never left a Chinese buffet with so much room left in my belly.

Went there for lunch and it was not very scrumptious at all… My taste buds were let down and not at all satisfied. Sushi was yucky… I’ve had better sushi from Kroger! I won’t be back, but give it a try… Maybe your standards are lower than mine… Or even better, if you have zero standards and just look to fill your face with random hunks of food, have at it!

We were excited to finally find a chinese buffet in this area and even more excited to discover that the menu options were decent. Even better — the food actually tasted good! We enjoyed every dish we tried — which was quite a few of them! We will definitely be back!
