Roberts Ferry Nut

Cute place to make a quick stop on my favorite road from Modesto to Sonora: easy turn into the parking lot, cold A/​C, coffee and shake bar ready-​to-​go.
This would also be a great place to pick up gifts: hostess gifts, holiday gifts, etc. Or office snacks. Local nuts are good snacks to hide inside your file cabinet for that hungry three o’clock hour.
The cashier was friendly but not pushy. She showed me where to sample the chocolate-​covered (and other-​covered) nuts, told me a little about the products, and made herself scarce.
They tasted great. Prices looked reasonable.
Unfortunately, when I stopped by I had just bough a huge bag of locally roasted corn-​nuts, so my file cabinet snack drawer was pretty well stocked. Next time I will look forward to taking something home!

I’m a fan because they helped me out while on a pinch. I was cycling back via 120 in desperate need of calories. (100 °F summer heat) They had the best fudge I’ve tasted, very rich and buttery, perfect fatty food to refuel myself with.
I’ll make it a point to visit when I’m not having a near death experience.

excellent place to stop and get chocolate covered almonds. they make the best milk shakes ever. i’m a huge milk shake fan and this is truely a place to go and get one.
