Shorty’s

Apps took too long to get to table. Shouldn’t have taken 20 minutes. Wings were good and the mushrooms were too. Didn’t stay for dinner went someplace else. Nice server.

I went To Shorty’s on a Saturday night for live music. The PA was good plenty of room for the band. The fact that the wait staff was very pleasant, attentive and frequently checking in is the only reason I can give any stars. The food was horrendous. they had specials on Pizza and Chicken Wings. The pizza was gas station quality, under cooked and soggy, we ordered the wings well done. The first wings that came and the couple we ate were not well done and rubbery. we let the waitress know and she brought a new batch but only replaced the ones we didn’t eat. I would have expected the whole order to be replaced. Someone else at your table ordered a burger and this this was torched to a crisp. not that it’s a big deal but they offer free WiFi but the signal is so poor pages never load. We did let them know the food was not very good and they apologized but really that’s it. all in all I would say skip any food here and just enjoy the music.

This place has horrible food and the iced tea is pretty bad as well. The appetizer took about 20 minutes to come out. It was supposed to be seasoned chicken, but it had no seasoning whatsoever. Our dinner came out about 30 minutes after that. My wife ordered the Caribbean salad which came with 5 small pieces of unseasoned chicken and 4 chunks of canned pineapple. How is that a Caribbean salad? My chicken breast dinner wasn’t any better. Again, the chicken was unseasoned (and seems it was a little undercooked) and the vegetables were mushy with no flavor. The salad was bad too, the lettuce tasted a little off (brown pieces in both of our salads).
We tried using a buy 1 get 1 free coupon, but was told it’s for entrees only. The coupon had a max value of $ 8.00 and the cheapest entrée was $ 9.99. The waitress could have at least told us we couldn’t use the coupon as I gave it to her prior to ordering.
Now my stomach is upset. Luckily I have a bottle of Pepto. I’m going to need it after eating here.

Gotta have the Wisconsin Bite every time we come to Shorty’s.

This place has a fun atmosphere and great food. The deck is open in the summertime and there is a really nice covered smoking patio open year-​round. Very reasonable prices and super friendly staff.
