The Collision Shop

First off I must be honest. My business with this company took place ten years ago. It is very possible that since then they have changed management/​ownership. HOWEVER my experience with this company was so dreadfully bad I’m still upset with it to this day.
I brought my car in to have some minor front end work repaired. While in the shop talking to the manager he suggested I think about having the entire car repainted. I decided that repainting would be a good idea since it was needed. I was given a written estimate of $ 800.00 for then entire job, and told it would take about a week.
I called a week later and it still wasn’t complete. They had also disassembled my steering column and started on repairs that I had not approved, but upon questioning them on what they were doing they said it was a repair that needed to be addressed and they would take care of it at no extra cost.
After having my car for the better part of a month they finally called and said my car is ready to be picked up. They handed my an invoice for $ 1200.00! four hundred over what they had quoted me and of course it included labor for the steering column repairs they said they were doing at no cost.
It didn’t stop there the brand new paint job I had just paid a premium for had large chips on the front of the car and the interior was absolutely filthy because they had sanded the old paint off with the windows down.
I refused to pay full price and said this was unacceptable work. The manager then verbally assaulted my father and I and would not negotiate a new price.
I needed my car back. I regrettably told them to fix the chips in my new paint and detail the interior. They did do that, so I got a $ 1200.00 paint job with touched up chips.
Like I said this was ten years ago as of 2013 so MAYBE its a better business now. I really felt the need to write this anyway since it was hands down the worst customer service and performance of any company i have ever done business with.

They are awful! Yes they provide you butch of discounts and pay your deductible. BUT when you receive your car, you will see they didn’t fix this and that. They won’t even tell you! They are hoping that you are ignorant enough that you won’t catch it! After you drive the car for couple days, you will see the seem/​crack is getting bigger and end up popping out! When you go back, they will tell you is not their business go back to fix it at your dealer?! I would rather go to someone who do what they promise. I am so regret now!
