Second time visiting. I had a scoop of ice cream and my husband had the chocolate malt. He is pretty sure it was just a shake with no malt but said it was good. My ice cream was good but not sure it was crazy great! Would visit again but wasn’t super wow’d to run right back.

This is a fantastic place to get ice cream. They make half of the ice cream choices them selves. They make their own cones, and it all tastes good. This is a great place to cool off in the summer! The only problem is that they stay open year and business goes down. Definitely check this place out!

Nice place. They have Chocolate Shoppe ice cream, which is fine, but the special thing is the custard made to their recipes. We had strawberry and mint chip; both were excellent.

Stumbled across this homemade ice cream shop when leaving Green Meadows Farm in trying to find my way back to 294. My mom and I love ice cream and were excited to find this quaint mom and pop shop. They had a decent selection of ice creams but nothing fancy or out of the ordinary. My mom had their cherry ice cream and I had the chocolate coconut almond ice cream. I’m not a fan of cherry flavored ice cream so I can’t comment but I know my mom enjoyed it. I loved my ice cream too … nice and creamy yet still light and had the right amount of choc pieces and almonds. The coconut was not overpowering either. It was just right and you could tell it was fresh and homemade Price was it was pretty reasonable as the scoops are generous. It is not like your Baskin Robins type of scoop. I didn’t post a picture of my giant 2 scoop cone as I really enjoyed my ice cream and just couldn’t take a break to take a pic. I also like the fact they used the Joy brand for their cones. It is a pretty small store with limited parking. There are a couple of tables with a park bench in the back but not much more room to move around. Glad we got lost, otherwise we wouldn’t have found this little gem. Definitely worth trying!

This is my favorite ice cream shop. There are so many flavors to choose from including froyo and Italian ice. 75% of the time they have my boyfriends favorite which is hard to find, Blue moon! You do get a good sized scoop so one will do and they make the waffle cones right in front of you. Never had a sundae or a shake but friends that have got them have nothing but good things to say about them. I have had an ice cream cake from there and it was pretty good. The atmosphere fits its perfectly, a small town ice cream shop. Luckily I haven’t been there on busy nights because it seems that they have a ‘take a number’ system for that and it is a small building. The parking lot is small and only had a problem getting a spot once out of the dozens of times being there. It’s worth the 25 min drive from where I live.

Love, love Uncle Harry’s! :) We visited some friends in Waterford recently and I just HAD to stop for some ice cream. Unfortunately I have not found a place quite like it in Texas. When my family and I lived in Wind Lake we made it a tradition to get Uncle Harry’s every 4th of July! Such a great little ice cream shop!

Great ice cream selection and a sweet little building. This is actually a really neat little ice cream shop. The ice cream is always fresh, the flavors are always changing and they make fresh waffle cones RIGHTINFRONTOFYOU! Yes, homemade waffle cones are delicious if you didn’t already know that. Prices are very reasonable. Hint* get one scoop… they are very generous.

Uncle Harry’s hasn’t changed a bit through the years, except to change hands. If you haven’t had the Rocky Road, you’re missing out. Definitely a nice place to go with kids or a family outing during the summer months.

This is the only place that makes the best Blue Moon ice cream in the state. You can buy it by scoop, pint or 3 gallon size. I do not eat any other ice cream, except Blue Moon so I can’t comment on the other flavors. This is a great place to go for ice cream or custard if you are in the area. It gets crowded quickly on warm days, but the wait is worth it.
