Just a note that this rating is based solely on the experience of shopping for bridesmaid dresses ONLY. I’d really like to give them 5 stars just based on the fitting rooms and shop setup alone, but unfortunately have to lower the grade for two reasons. The primary reason is that because of her experience at several other shops and the long drive from O’Fallon, IL to Waterloo, my Maid of Honor called ahead to ask if they had a good selection of bridesmaid dresses in plus sizes (24 & up) and with higher necklines & straps available in-​stock for her to try on. She was told that they did indeed have that kind of a selection available for her to try on, so we made the trip out there. Much to our chagrin, they did NOT have much a selection at all in larger sizes. So, thanks for letting us waste a trip (& gas money) to head out there. The second reason for the lower grade is because, like too many other shops, there’s just not much of a selection in available larger sizes to actually try on in the store (for bridesmaid dresses, anyway).
That being said, the sales ladies were very nice and the selections they did have available on the rack were all very nice looking— on the hangers. Really wish they would’ve had more than the one for my friend to try on, because the material that a couple styles of dresses were made out of was absolutely gorgeous… Even though they were a bit pricier than other shops. I would still recommend them to others.

This is our third and final wedding. Bridget, the owner, and her staff are amazing. We had an appointment for 10 o’clock. We were greeted at the door with a warm hug, I know this may seem not seem appropriate, but it was our third wedding that Bridget was going to be a part of. We always bring wine with us to relax, and have fun browsing the gowns. Bridget said that she usually has 300 wedding dresses in her store. Her shop is two levels, the first level is devoted to brides and weddings, the upstairs is for bridesmaid dresses and prom. She has a huge room that has chairs, a fireplace and a huge area to change and showcase your dresses. They also offer tuxedo’s. If you purchase your dress Bridget offers a 15% discount on the tuxedos, bridesmaids dresses and mother of the brides dresses.

Such an amazing experience!
The owner is very knowledgeable and knows her designers. She made me feel so welcome as soon as I walked in and she took her time helping me try each dress. I am definitely coming back to purchase my dress here!

I live in St. Louis and made the short trip to Waterloo to try on wedding dresses after a friend’s recommendation. I have never been happier to receive a friend’s advice in my life! I found the dress of my dreams on my first visit and my overall experience was nothing short of magical. From the moment I walked into the shop, I knew I wasn’t in a garden variety dress factory like some other places. Bridget and her staff made my first visit, and each visit since, feel personal. They made trying on dresses fun and amazing. I was placed in the bride’s suite where my entourage (comprised of my mom, future mother-​in-​law, and sisters) got to sit and relax while the Bridal Manor ladies helped me put on the gowns. While putting on the dresses, gold curtains were closed around the dressing area. When I was ready, the curtains were pulled back for my party to see. The result was sometimes laughter, sometimes tears, and one of the best days of my life!

I had been in 3 weddings with this bridal shop… each one went off without a glitch. These ladies are top notch in friendliness and ease of assistance.
After my sister and her small viewing party had experienced less than satisfactory service at Clarice’s, we called Bridal Manor and explained we would be coming from STL. They offered up their smaller room and said as long as we were ok with 1 – 1.5 hrs time slot they would love to have us, or we could come the next day (Thurs) when they are open until 8pm.
When we arrived the appt in the larger room had cancelled, so they moved us to the «suite». They treated my sister like a princess. They let each person in the «viewing party» pick a few to feel part of the process. Every dress no matter what size (2 – 16) looked like it fit my sister like a glove from the front. Those girls know how to work a clamp! It really made picking out her dream that much easier.
They had a wide variety of bridal gowns, however, I can’t say the same for their bridal party gowns. They seemed a little dated for my taste or straight out a prom trunk show.
We didn’t order it that night. We came back 3 weeks later… just so she could be sure. The service was just as flawless. The 2^nd time we did it up with veils and bridal party gowns (additional discounts the more you order from them). Don’t be shy about the traveling outside of your neighborhood for this gem!
