3 stars because it is what it is, which is something I don’t agree with. Capitalism is one thing & has its faults as well as so many redeeming qualities that our society is based on it. On the other hand, pawn shops, payday loans & casinos aren’t capitalism & have no redeeming qualities. They function by preying on peoples’ desperate need for immediate cash. At casinos, people lose it all. At payday loans, they quickly owe more than they can pay back, aka usury, which is illegal. At pawn shops, they trade their possessions for a fraction of what they’re worth. This EZ Pawn has a payday loan place attached so you can conveniently get your finances in a world of hurt.
I was walking by, saw a guy walk out with a power cable, said hey, I need a power cable, but when I went in, they didn’t have any. I took a look at the computers, all priced double what they’re worth. Reminded myself to stay out of these sad places.
