Do not order from this store. I waited over an hour for a carry out order and I was not the only person. We were given a range of excuses from there were«a lot of tickets» to «the on line ordering time is always inaccurate«only to find out they didn’t make the orders. It took a good 10 minutes to get waited on in the first place once we walked in. The person next to me said this happens all the time and they really don’t care even if you call. Consider yourself warned.

So Imo’s is definitely a St. Louis thing. If you’re from the east coast(as I am), the whole provel cheese thing is just weird. It’s good, and my family polished off two pizzas with no problem at all, but it’s weird. This location is kind of small but in a good, comfortable way. It probably seats about 50 – 60. I thought the pizzas were a little on the pricy side, but they were tasty. I don’t think pizza should crunch, so I’m biased there, too, but the kids loved it. If they sold beer by the pitcher(or at all, really), I’d probably throw another star up there. I’d go back if someone else really wanted to, but I don’t think I’d choose to myself.

This is a neat little Italian place that isn’t too upscale, but is also small and quaint enough for a quick work lunch. They have great toppings and definitely have their own recipe. It is a little pricey for what you get.

I am a huge fan of thin crust pizza. Imo’s thin crust pizza is excellent. crispy cracker type crust, interestingly almost sweet tasty sauce and the provel cheese is kinda strange, and very good. This location is one of a few outside STL that is convenient for me. I am a big fan of their meaty toasted ravioli(with pizza sauce for dipping), and their burn-the-roof-of-your-mouth Deluxe Pizza: Bacon(small slices, not bits), Sausage, green peppers, onions etc. Amazing. Their Imo’s house dressing(a sort of creamy italian) is very good too, although I’m not a big fan of plain lettuce with cheese on it for a «salad». Many imitators in the area but I still prefer this original.
