A friend had an extra ticket and asked if I wanted to see a play. I had not been to the Capitol Theatre since they converted it to the Monroe Actors Stage Company. The place was upstairs, I don’t think it is handicapped accessible. I was informed that all of the actors are volunteers, and so are the stage hands. I also discovered that sometimes the stage hands become actors… It is a small space, but it you could hear the actors. I was however a little shocked at the price of a single ticket $ 12, seriously even the Muny has cheaper seats.
