We came here every Sunday when it was the Depot because we loved the food and friendly service. I came back recently and waited 20 minutes to even have a waitress come and ask what I wanted to drink. She messed up my order and I never saw her again to refill drinks. My girlfriend had her order messed up and her omelete was overcooked, almost burnt. Kitchen looked messy and in total chaos as one woman was cooking and her daughter was helping bus and clean dishes. Definitely needed more help. Pretty bad first impression. As with all bad experiences I try and come back at another time so I don’t pass off too much judgement, too quickly. I came back the next week with a few friends. There were 4 of us and we waited 30 minutes for anyone to come see us. Got our drinks and waited 95 minutes just to get our food. Never got a refill on coffee. Never got the water I asked for twice. We had to go to the bar to get our own refills on beer and water. No one asked us how the food was. Screwed up my order and gave us all burnt toast. I’ll say this, whenever there is a shift in management at a restaurant or bar, you have to give them time to adjust. It is my understanding that they changed management over this past winter. That, in my opinion, is plenty of time(5 – 6 months) to work out some, not all, of the kinks. This is not the case. The staff is in way over their head on this one. It’s one thing to have a bad day, because we all do, but consistently bad food, and bad service is a red flag. We’ve decided to not go back and will be taking our business elsewhere.
