Burgers were done perfectly. Looking forward to trying the pizza. Great to have a place of this quality in the Waterloo/​Marshall area!

I love everything about this restaurant and am SO grateful to have them in Waterloo! They don’t just use local, organic ingredients –which is always a must for me – everything about them is environmentally responsible… from the creative repurposed interior to even the takeout boxes, which are made of compostable paper, but very sturdy and of high quality. The food? Amazing! My favorite thing on the menu is the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, which is made with tender and flavorful thinly sliced beef, fresh peppers and onions, mushrooms and a lot of melty cheese on a toasted roll with au jus for dipping. The sautéd vegetables have just the right amount of crunch and everything combined is mouth meltingly good. Jalapeño poppers are another winner. Made in house with fresh ingredients, they are so good, I don’t even use the sauce that is on the side for dipping. Pizzas also excellent. Everything is of the highest quality. They recently started featuring work by a local artist, which is a good reason to eat in the restaurant instead of getting takeout, which is what I usually do. The owners really care and everything has always been perfect. Overall, I really great place.

Soular is delicious! Their pizza is the best I’ve had in a long time. They are environmentally friendly which is another plus in my book. Definitely worth checking out!
