Staples

I was looking for a particular kind of paper punch but they didn’t have it. I’m sure I need to go to more of a craft store but On Memorial Day hobby lobby is not open.
My three-​star isn’t because I couldn’t find the item that I wanted. More so because my first impression was that of an employee sitting right outside the door on the concrete smoking a cigarette. At first I wondered if he was a bum sitting out there. But then I seen that he was wearing a name tag. I’m sure they have a back area loading dock area where he could’ve smoked instead. Otherwise he should’ve went and sat in his car and smoke.
I didn’t get greeted as I walked into the store but while I was looking for my paper punch Darlene came and asked me if she could help me find anything. So I did get customer service while I was in the store even though I didn’t buy anything.
I don’t come here often because most of the office supplies that I need I can either buy online or at a store that’s not so expensive.
In the past I haven’t gotten very good service at this Staples location. They don’t normally have very much staff on hand but they also aren’t very busy. Prices don’t seem as competitive as if you buy items online or at stores like Walmart or target.
I honestly don’t see the Staples chain lasting for very many more years.

Ordered something from their print services online, it was suppose to be ready 2 hours later, the next day when I went to pick it up they hadn’t even looked at the order. Told to to wait while they printed it, no apology. Customer service is terrible! This is a typical experience at this location… I will no longer shop or order anything from Staples.
