This placed has seemed to come a long way since I was a child. I grew up in the area, so I have a ton of fond memories of the store. I’m not sure if it’s only because I’m an adult or it always looked like this, but it usually looks sad and abandoned when I’m in the store. I’ve never seen more than one cashier on a register at a time — because there’s no need for it. In fact, most of the time when I come in, the employees on-duty tend to out-number the amount of guests in the store. That’s not to say it’s a bad place to shop. It isn’t. The employees don’t really«offer» up help, but I’ve never had any problems or rudeness when I ask one for help — and there’s usually quite a few around. Since the store doesn’t seem too well shopped, there’s usually a ton of awesome clearance items. And as far as toys go, they always have the latest and best selection of toys to choose from. A kid would definitely be super-happy here. As a video game shopper, the selection is interesting. They have some of the newer releases, but you come here if you want to find some odd, hard-to-find, older games. They tend to have quite a few of those. They even had video game console bundles from games that came out ¾ years ago that I can only find online anymore. Game prices are pretty fair, and checkout was pretty simplistic. There are lots of «out of stock» spots, but there’s still a pretty decent selection of games that makes it a fun treasure-trove to look through. Plus, I usually pick up some really awesome clearance items here! So, while it may not have the former glory of its existence, this is still totally an amazing place for kids, and I’m sure they still see it as the best place in the world. For adults, it’s a fun place to find bargains and older types of video games.
