Autumn’s is a fantastic, olde tyme-y barbershop. I don’t really like salons and don’t know anything about hairstyles, so I usually dread getting my hair cut, but the ladies at Autumn’s make everything quick, easy and painless, and leave your hair looking great without leaving your wallet much lighter. I’ve been going to Autumn’s for over a decade(and I live in NYC now: every time I go home to see my family I try to get an Autumn’s hair cut). Always looks great, always cheap, and always taken care of pretty much intuitively by the barber with very little input from me, which is great because I don’t have any input to give. They pretty much just ask how long I want my hair and get right to it. You can usually just walk in, and if you have to wait they have a little game table and a very eclectic, kitschy décor that’s hard not to stare at.
