Five of us stumbled on Lulus on the way to Center hill lake. What a find! We had a delicious lunch, freshly cooked beets, carrots, parsnips and fried okra, a great Reuben sandwich. Eggplant Parmesan, freshly sautéed apples, a great black bean salad and the best hot coffee. The service was friendly but a bit slow, the atmosphere was fun with good music. I expect it is hopping on the weekends

In my book, friendly people, great service, great food, a unique environment, and a laid back hang define an experience. This is what you’ll be assured of at The Blue Tomato! Great gumbo, burgers, and breakfast. Frankly, the owners couldn’t help but be good. It’s in the family. Go in and chat it up with Bo, he’ll tell you all about it! This place is great.
