BUYER BEWARE! The tree removal portion of the job went as expected. The ground up stump was minimal, I had to pay another company to finish the job correctly. Half way through the job (removing 6 of 12 trees) José approached me and told me they were going to charge me an extra $ 350 for trees that were tagged, but by their own mistake was not included in their quote. This pushed their quote above a lower quote I had received from another company (I chose Brothers because they had the lowest quote). At the end of the job José asked if I would be planting new trees, I said yes. He advised that I keep the White Pine stump grindings on my property to serve as mulch around the new plantings. I met with 5 different Arborist to get a quote for new trees, and they told me that Brothers advised me to keep the grinding so that they would not have to pay to have them dumped. I had to hire another company to remove the useless stump grindings. When I approached José about my concerns he was argumentative and confrontational. In the end José kept to his original quote, but I had to pay additional money to 2 other companies to grind up the stumps again, and remove the stump grindings from the original job. DO NOT USE BROTHERS! There are other companies that offer competitive quotes — seek them out.

We want to thank Brothers’ Tree Service for their wonderful work. When we woke up this morning, we had a huge tree fall on the roof of our house. With in a few hours Brothers’ Tree Service was there to remove it. After a huge storm, we thought for sure we’d have to wait days to have it removed. They were fast, diligent and did a wonderful job. We’ll definitely be using their services again. We were so blown away by their service, thank you so much!
